I assume it's a electric fan oven? Sound's like something inside it is shorting to ground, maybe an exposed wire or something, so might want to replace it. Also rip kettle. Wonder why the cleaners would take your kettle, assuming it was them.
Yeah, its an electric fan oven. No idea, they left the toaster, kitchen scales and panini maker. They also sent someone around to ask what was mine before cleaning things to which my response was everything on a work surface, other people's stuff is in bin bags in the middle of the room. I don't really want to buy a new kettle since I rarely used it, so will probably use the hob from now on. But the fridge is totally f'ed since it doesn't seal and at least 3 different members of maintenance staff have confirmed that, so I am gonna have to go down to main desk to ask about stuff anyway, which to be frank I would rather not be doing, but such is life I guess...
Maybe? They aren't permanent staff, they have around 1300 bedrooms and ensuites to clean plus around 250 kitchens so they have to hire in an external cleaning company. As far as I can work out the company offers young people the opportunity to do work experience in foreign countries. Since all their staff are foreign and of similar to age in me if not younger doing highly seasonal work, plus they live on site for the duration of their work here. But my guessing could be wrong.
Gentlemen... my how the mighty fall. This is my car from yesterday to God knows when. It's a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, and it's quite the far cry from my American steed who's off being fixed after a run in with a Toyota Camry (as many of you know). Now, I'm here to talk about this Elantra, because it has genuinly surprised me. You see, the Elantra had never been in my mind. In terms of Hyundai, I'd always wanted either a Genesis Coupe or a Veloster Turbo, or a Genesis G80 with Hyundai's excellent 5 liter V8. I never looked at the Elantra and went "yea, now that's a fun car." However, last night really proved to me that you can truly have fun in anything of you try hard enough. The Elantra falls into that category. See, it has a "drive mode" button, which is mumbo jumbo for "Sport". Now, it NEEDS this button. Why does it need this button? Becasue in its normal family sedan clothes, it's quite underwhelming and boring. Put it into Eco mode and it becomes down right HORRENDOUS to drive. It's so sluggish that it feels dangerous. However, all that changes in Sport mode. Now, cars shouldn't have a sport mode, they should just be sporty, but that's a topic for another time. I can't remember when Hyundai decided that they were going to make their family cars fun. Of course, I use the word "fun" loosely, but this Elantra is a jolly good time in Sport mode. In most other family cars, the sport button will increase throttle response and that's about it. It does that here, too, but takes it a few steps further. It raises shift points, shifts harder, quickens the steering (though it remains comically numb), and even relaxes the traction control. I was able to get this FWD family car to rotate in the bends. It was a ripping good time... For a family car. The point is you really can have fun in anything you drive. Is this car my Mustang? No, it's not. But it's not so dull it makes me want to kill myself either (I'm looking at you, Toyota Camry).
I dont know why but i have a soft-spot for Hyundai's they are under-rated (but not as much as Ssangyong) I think i might slowly be going crazy but just about the one song that is going to power me through Year 11 (final year in high school) is Manuel Gas Gas Gas its like a drug its amazing, just one listen in the evening of Thursday means i am humming it throughout the day, (well apart from during a silent essay, i had to resort to singing in my head )

113 in stock form, it was 128 in mondeo with a more aggressive cam. You can get quite a bit more out of them though
i had the 1.6 in my focus hatch, 99hp. Had the 1.8 in my focus wagon. The 1.8 is the much better engine in all regards i felt. Not much more hp, but its delivered over a much wider range while delivering the same fuel economy in my real world usage. It just drove so much better than the 1.6 did. The 1.6 isnt even bad as such, just the 1.8 was so much better
I keep trying to draw things with pencil and paper while I'm away from my computer and I'm finding it impossible. I just closed my sketchbook once again after literally trying to zoom in to an area and having a brief moment of confusion when I couldn't figure out how. Traditional media has actually broken my brain. The drawing I did yesterday looks like the doodles I did in elementary school. It's incredibly frustrating.
