    You tried checking this?
    https://github.com/RORMasa/NodeBeamEditor

The editor is pretty straight-forward to use, I don't think there is much to explain on that.
If a button says 'Add node', it will do exactly that.
Check the readme.txt file aswell, and the page above, near the end.

To test, you can go in Documents/BeamNG.Drive/vehicles, make a folder and put your Jbeam there.
It should work (it has been a while since I last did that)

Hey, I know it's been a while since this thread was used, but I was just wondering whether or not the NodeBeam Editor still works for the game. If so, how do you import/export without it crashing? If not, is there any other program that would work? Thanks for the help.

The Node beam editor still works perfectly fine ;). You just have to know what you're doing in the JBeam. Some JBeam files won't load, but usually you can track down the part that is causing the JBeam to not load. You just remove the offending piece of code, and it should load up.

You're wrong. You forgot about Notepad++, Notepad, and the countless other text editors capable of editing a JBeam. Those count as "Programs", therefor your statement is invalid.

Is this program THE tool to edit huge jbeam files? I'm guessing the devs don't write every coordinate by hand?

We do actually do most of the Jbeam work with a simple text-editor :)

I know this is a bump but this program hasn't been updated in 5 whole years and its the only thing making jbeam not a complete pain. Any sort of update would be nice.

I completely agree. My brother is using it to make his first mod, and being able to visualize what you’re doing is so much easier.
