RX8 Sucks dick and oil like vacuum, I mean 15 mpg you know what else get's 15 mpg a 2017 Rolls Royce Phanton Now wait for the war
Nah. Those things actually have value. The whole point of police vics is that they're everywhere for cheap in all kinds of conditions.
Good god. Thanks Mr. Regular. This is going to be everywhere now. I've never gotten single digits in my car.
It's basically a well-built, but not expensive expensive luxury coupe. A great car for the middle-aged accounting manager who can almost afford a Mercedes.
Do you guys know why the rover 75 has such a bad reputation? As far as i can work out it doesnt seem to be that unreliable
So it's the British version of any American non-sports car before we started to do the Euro styling of cars, note to self never buy anything from Europe unless I live in Europe which will never happen.
Well you could get it with a ford modular 4.6l V8 engine, so that variant will be very similar to US cars in terms of drivetrain reliability. However the rest of the models had rover engines, which will likely be very rover like in terms of their reliability (or lack there of). From looking around there seems to be mixed opinions about rover reliability, however there does still seem to be quite a few rover 75's knocking around so they can't be that bad. Rover 25's seem to be pretty rare now especially when compared to their Renault, Vauxhall and Ford completion. But perhaps that is simply because no one wanted to buy budget cars from a defunct company? My Aunt still drives a Rover 75. Its a pretty nice car, I think the styling has held up quite well.
its decent for its size and weight, well not awful anyway. Like it isn't fast, but it isn't slow either, it could be a Fiat Doblo taking over 18 seconds to 60! It's a diesel so it will always feel faster than when you are really pushing it, since it has torque giving you a fake sense of hope that it will deliver at higher revs. Besides 14.6 isn't that bad, when's the last time anyone merged onto a motorway with a 0-60 time of less than 18 or so seconds, alright evasive action is limited now that you have a slower vehicle but most of the time there is a big on-ramp for motorways so it picks up speed well (when we join a motorway the car just upshifts around 2400rpm and then runs out of gears and cruises around 2500rpm). It is like a bus really, massive turning circle, slow steering, awful rear visibility, and is quite slow, but acceleration is almost inappropriate, more like it is "Gathering Speed" (sounds almost like something you would find in a windows XP installer ). I wonder how fast the 3.2 Petrol gathers speed, it has 217 horsepower so it should be a bit faster!
As far as i heard the engine were made with input of bmw hence why there are somewhat reliable also i too think the design really has held up well and a friend of mine is wanting to buy one thats why i ask. Also are the mgs more reliable?
Between a Rover 75 and Jaguar X type though... For example: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201706236705347?price-from=1000&make=JAGUAR&sort=price-asc&radius=1500&advertising-location=at_cars&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&price-to=3000&page=2 Its 4wd so the fuel economy isn't great, but there are quite a lot of them in this sort of price range and cheaper. Plus its a V6 with around 200hp. Not sure what insurance will be like though.
