Thanks for the reply, Gabe! Are there any other vehicles we have where the body is capable of peeling off of the frame? I've seen what appear to be partial detachments on the Moonhawk and D15, but never anything complete.

Moonhawk body should (theoretically) be able to separate completely from the frame, but not the D15 (the floor of the cab/bed and top of the frame are the same nodes).

It will come standard with a turbo.

Speaking of turbo, are you gonna do anything sound-wise for the T-75? It just wont be right driving a huge, diesel semi truck with the default engine sound. Or are we just gonna have to suck it up for a while?

If they do not make a new engine sound, just use the sound mod. It has 14 different sounds for the vehicles, and they are actually pretty nice!

ah yeah...but what about upping the boost from what ever you have it set at to something like double or even triple or even more booooost to make it into a race truck of some sort?

Much like a turbo sucks, you will also have to suck it up :( Redoing the sound system is a huge undertaking and quite low on our to-do list right now.

Just throw a big big block v8 in there, drop an axle and flop another hood on there cause I don't think the eagle had just a single rear axle option. :p

Yea, I understand. I was just wondering what you guys had planned. Guess I'll just find a mod. Thanks for the reply.

    too* bad?

    Are you serious?

That's the last thing I want the devs working on. We don't have force feedback, multiple .dae loading per vehicle, realistic clutch/gearing simulation, a fleshed out add-on system, decent ai, local multiplayer, etc.

Sound is the last thing on my mind, and I'm glad the devs are thinking the same way.

Yep, I agree. Why would you be working on the sounds if more than, well, 70% of all vehicles aren't even done? I'd work on the sounds if all vehicles are completed and in-game, not before that.

We also currently do not have the resources to go out and record a bunch of engine sounds at constant RPM, among all the other sounds required (rolling/sliding/scraping on various surfaces). For engine sounds, we would prefer to simulate the sound with a series of "pops", much like Live for Speed's engine sound system. But again, this is long term, and low priority on our to-do list.

I think Automation uses FMOD Studio or something to make their sounds?

FMOD is the sound engine, they use samples from a company called Sonory.

Nope they recorded their sounds from the devs own cars and edited them slightly for in game.

Maybe, when the time comes, you could do crowdsourcing and ask the community to record a bunch of sounds and put the .wav files as attachments in a thread, and then use the best ones in game? Sort of like a contest?

I can confirm that the game does run on both dual and triple screen setups. I use a triple screen setup when playing BeamNG and it runs just fine and looks great!

Stretching across all the displays scales and works correctly for windowed mode, and using Soft TH works for full screen. :)
