When driving, shifting gears fully manual (no clutch assistance etc...) and driving at high speeds - > when you suddenly engage to reverse gear (I know hard on the car and all but...) the engine debug says the engine is turning at -7000 rpms. I'm sure its not suppose to happen.

thats because the engine has stalled, and since you are now in reverse gear the engine is going backwards! it won't make any power though as the intake is now the exhaust so there is no fuel coming in

it probably has happened to you in real life, but in real life you don't have an engine debug UI app :p

I'm 100% sure I haven't kicked my gearbox in reverse while going down the street XD
With it being a DCT it will probably be a headache to deal with :D

have you ever stalled a manual car going up a hill or hill starting, if you roll back then your engine is moving backwards :p

Note: this only happens when the clutch is engaged. If you press the clutch and roll back, the engine is not moving ;p

yeah true, but you stall because you engaged the clutch too quick, so it is probably still engaged during rollback. Then you apply brake and take off the clutch
