Down here in Tennessee, it's cold, it's sleeting, it's dark, and it SUCKS.
Actually, it's now very lightly snowing, which improves the situation. And me, being the adventurous little shit that I am, decidided to grab my little pink bycicle and ride around on the roads, which have a very light dusting of snow on them. There is some black ice where there was water on the road, and I found a patch. I was screwing around, and I fell of my little pink bycicle, I put my hand down, and then landed with the rest of my weight on my knee, shoving it into the sippery concrete, and then coming to rest on my butt. Luckily, the ground is icy, so I my knee and hand didn't really get cut up too bad. I did slide a good 5 feet after I fell, though. I don't remember where this story was going, so I guess it's over.

We just had the driest calendar year in California history (so as far back as record keeping began in 1849). The state averaged 7 inches of rain for the entire year. We are in our 3rd straight year of drought and it is going to go from severe drought to extreme drought in about a week. The governor is predicted to declare a state of emergency (there is still no rain in the forecast). To give you some perspective on how abnormally dry it's been: In my city, the average rainfall for November is 6 inches. We got 0.5 inches. The average rainfall for December is 8 inches. We got 0.5 inches. The average rainy days per month around this time of year is 10-15. We have had 1 rainy day per month during this "rainy season."

Sorta cold and snowy, hovering around 0.5C. Supposed to snow 50CM tonight on the coquihalla connector (if u watch discovery thats the "highway thru hell" on that tv show with the same name) I think we might get like 10-25 down here in the valley. Not stoked, gotta drive through a similar pass in a 5 ton.

it snowed 3-4 inches a few days ago. It's supposed to be between -23f and 0f sunday and -20f and -11f monday.

My car probably won't start, but I probably won't have school. :p

I know the feeling man I have been in Zimbabwe back in 1998 and that was brutally hot and I was like 7 years old at the time and I still remember burning my feet on the red brick path in my grandparents back garden..

Oh god, out of context that's... I'm sorry :D

Couple that with some thunderstorms and you've got my kind of climate :) Wish I lived on the east coast.

12-24 inches of snow expected for me tonight. Wish there was a game to simulate that. Plow truck simulator!

I feel like spin tires could have semi-realistic snow if they tried. I don't know of anything that has convincing snow in it though

It also depends on the temperatures that the snow falls at. When its warm out the snow is extremely heavy and dense. Its harder to get traction in. Powdery snow happens when its colder out (Like how its 1.2F here) and I was able to drive my 2wd truck around just fine. I'd say snow is the hardest thing to replicate.

Cold and snowing. Not a lot of snow, but temps are well into the negative Fahrenheits. Unsure about temps in celsiuses, the news stations don't broadcast metric and I'm too lazy to convert it myself.
