Dude, thats a GT610, it benchmarks *lower* than integrated graphics. Its only purpose is to add graphics to a machine without any integrated graphics at all.

I made another Newegg wishlist with a better PC in it. What do you think?

You wasted 50 dollars on a 610? Really? Ya could've at least gone for a 640.. (Even though the 650 is the lowest in the range that's really for gaming.)

You will probably want another 4gb ram, but otherwise it is quite nice. Expect some lag on N/B intensive stuff like the moon hawk and H45 though. The 7770 at stock will not really run the game maxed out @1080p, but it can handle all normal quite wall. Overclocked balls to the wall it can max the game at 30fps. It has the bottleneck in the 128bit bus.
No smooth sentences for me. I'm tired.

I get the lag too, but I have Nvidia Geforce GT 520M and a Intel i5-2410M 4 core 2.3 GHz and the problem is not my graphics, it's the CPU. When I press Alt + Down the framerate goes up, just because the CPU doesn't have to perform physics calculations that fast, and the framerate depends on what car am I using, and in which map I am (some maps are just unplayable).

    LOL @ this thread.

since when do you judge whether your CPU is fast or not by... its CLOCK SPEED? LOL.

I run this game on my two laptops and it lags HORRIBLY with any detailed map.

    first laptop is hp dv7
core i7 quad core cpu w/ intel hd 3000 intergrated graphics and 8GB DDR3

    the other is macbook air

    core i5, 4gb dd3, same intel graphics.

The performance is horrible on anything other than lowest settings and minimal full screen 16:9 resolution.

You need a decent cpu and a decent gpu, no ifs or buts about it.

    SSD is always nice too.

Clock speed... cpu speed... clock speed...cpu speed...

Do you see the connection there? Clock speed is generally a pretty good indicator of how quick a cpu youre getting... For instance, an i5 3570k runs better than a 3330 because of its faster clock speed. Much like a fx 9590 runs faster than an 8350 because of its increased clock speed...

Why would a SSD be beneficial whatsoever for BeamNG?

SSD's access speeds are near instantaneous its so much faster than having to wait several milliseconds to get a response from a normal mechanical drive...

None of which benefits video game performance unless it is frequently loading and unloading content, which it is but the drive is not a bottleneck.

yeah and my dad thinks it still runs out of memory...as if

I mean really when I do built my machine once I have a job and all...Haswell-E, 32/64GB ram (undecided as of yet), 1 OR 2 GTX800 Series card, 256GB SSD Boot disk...possibly a 512GB SSD gaming Disk, 2x 512GB Record Disk configured for 1024GB format, then 16TB Mechanical Storage...

but thats all theoretical as of this moment in time...thats just what I am considering..

Ummm..... and I thought I had the slowest computer running BeamNG. I don't even have to go that low in settings. wow. EDIT: My computer is also a laptop, BUT, its about the thinnest laptop ive ever seen! it looks like its maybe only 1 inch thick!!!! (Its a brand-new windows 8 HP Sleekbook 15, if I remember right) (Another EDIT: Maybee actualy 1 cm thick, cant tell)

I have the sleekbook 14, a mate has an alienware M17 or something, the keyboard base half of my laptop is thinner than his screen. My laptop is thinner than his keyboard :p

Damn thin, hardly the thinnest though. Dell adamo is merely 9.9mm thick, I think the sleekbook is closer to 20-25.

That last screen was at 480p. My CPU and GPU are bottlenecks to the game. I am getting a new PC soon.
