I would like to talk about some of the damage your pets have done, i'll start of with something that happened yesterday, So my cat likes to bit the edge of my monitor, I push it away and don't think much of it.
After a while it manages to scratch it, it was pretty annoying but I got over it as it was a tiny scratch at the top right of my monitor.
Yesterday I was going about my day when the cat jumps up on my desk bits the edge of the monitor I can't stop it and BAM the top right of my monitor is all messed up and then the whole monitor goes outta whack, some where around 150 - 200 dollars down the drain cause the cat has a taste for plastic :/

My dog once ate my Headphones (Didn't EAT per say but chewed to the ground). He's face when I caught him was priceless "Oh, You didn't want me to do that?"
Also, he's known to be destroying doors. He hates being alone (even when I go to the shower) so he thinks he can open doors at will.

My dog is pretty good in general he just has a problem with barking. I think the only things he actually destroyed was my lawn and a little cheap car. He literally just picked it up and went cRuNcH.

This is the exact reason as to why I will likely never own pets, or at least buy small animals, that won't completely destroy the house.

I have 10 birds in my house and all of them don't destroy things....................except one. My cockatiel chews ANYTHING you put infront of her. Cables, pencils, buttons, rubber, you name it and she chews it up.

Pigeons fly around here (because NYC) and many of them keep shitting on my A/C. Another one has been building a nest in my dad's A/C, and now it makes funny noises. Still cools the room though.

my dog tried to steal a stick of butter (again, but this time he was unsuccessful), and he ended up knocking over my mini-fridge (which had my coffee maker on top) and my coffee maker exploded on impact, and everything inside the fridge was ruined. Including the butter, which fell on the floor with a depressing splat.

About... 6 years ago, I think it was, my mother and I were taking care of a pup for someone over Christmas. Adorable little Finnish Lapphund pup, about, I don't know, 9 or 10 weeks old, has endless energy, will chew on anything you put in front of him, typical pup stuff.

Well, we're opening presents, and I start to unbox the components of a Logitech G27. Take out the shifter, hold it up for a picture, set it aside. Take out the pedals, hold them up for the picture, set them aside. Take out the wheel itself, hold it up for a picture, set it aside, notice the cord for the pedals is cut neatly in two with the pup sitting there as bright-eyed as ever. It didn't even take him a minute to bite the cord in half.

Fortunately, it was fixable with electrical tape and it still works to this day.

My dog is a Vizsla Whippet mix and has a habit of jumping up on our island, grabbing the recycling bag and just having endless fun removing caps from Gatorade bottles. As soon as he pops an orange lid off he goes for the next one. Another time we had finished a large bag of Pirate's Booty (Best Corn Crisps ever) and we left him alone for one minute to come back and see that he had shoved his face into the bag and was licking the inside of it as he walked around, bumping into stuff.
