My Vehicle Hey guys, I'm studying Mechanical Engineering and last semester I had to design a LMP1 Prototype car Anyway I thought it would be a great addition to BeamNG's sim/game. I have modelled it in Solidworks and having finally joined this forum after contemplating it for a long time I am interested in what others think of the design of my car. It is the first serious attempt at designing anything in a 3D modelling environment and I look forward at your thoughts. Thanks
In Russia if you drive something worth more than $500 or so you will want a cam so if you crash (very likely) you have proof that it wasn't your fault. (Unless it is your fault) It's a pretty good idea to have a cam on whenever you drive, really because then you have evidence that you can take to court in the event of a crash. Anyway, how about a cheap-ish sports/super car? Like a Fiero? (Cheap-sh mid engined V6 American car with double wishbones and was made in the 80s)
Well, now it makes sense to me. Here in Norway you just get blamed if it's obvious that it's your fault. We dont even go to the court in case of minor traffic accidents. Unless you drunk drive, kill or molest someone. Ontopic: Will there be a awesome V8 sound in the V8 powered cars?
Now this Would Be a awesome Car in Beam NG The Holden Hurricane. I was thinking about a Hammer H1 or H2 they are big and cool you could make something between: This View attachment 1312 View attachment 1314 And this View attachment 1315 View attachment 1313
I've always fantasized about small cars, as in toys or replicas, made so that you can crash them just like real cars and get the exact same results, only on small scale.
I remember I was always disappointed that I couldn't actually crash my little model cars and make them dent and crush.
