I can dream, can't I? Just think of the effect of the bright Italian sun streaming in through those unwashed windows...
Let's not forget that Nadeox1's Sandy Mt. map has enterable warehouses, so it's not entirely impossible to have at least a few that are enterable.
I believe the Port map has enterable warehouses, as I've done the Port Escape scenario with the Pessima before.
I thought Nadeox said that feature will not be in official maps due to performance reasons. Couldn't find the quote though, maybe I am just misremembering
HOLY CRAP THEY ACTUALLY ARE ADDING THE AFTER FIRE EFFECT I AM ON FULL HYPE MODE RIGHT NOW HOLY SHIET!
Line lock, backfiring, and NOS. Seems we got a drag-heavy update coming. I wonder if there's gonna be two-step and wheel thermals to go along with it.
No wheel thermals and no indepth tire simulation. Two step is already in the game tho. At least partially.
When you start the scenario the game will limit your RPM when you start in first gear so that there isn't much wheelspin. That's a VERY simplified two step. And i highly doubt about the wheel thermals because if they add thermals they will most likely mix it up together with a much improved tire physics and tire wear and so on.
Hmmm... In somewhat-related news, @Diamondback appears to be trying to increase the realism of a DCT by making it shift down automatically if the RPM drops below a certain point. I'm not certain, but the video he posted also appears to show the transmission automatically shifting up after bouncing off of the rev limiter for a while. (Although that could just be a regular, player-controlled upshift at the end - Diamondback didn't mention anything about upshifting, so I'm assuming that isn't the transmission shifting until I'm told otherwise)
Even though modern transmissions often do exactly that (shift up up at redline even in M mode), I don't really want to have that in-game. IRL it's mostly a safety thing and I don't feel we really need this together with yet another option to disable it again...
