Well, diesel V8 is still no so common in euro zone, but there is V8 in many truck makers, Scania got their own V8 and Mercedes-Benz use Daimler* V8 AND V6 engines, and today Sisu use same Daimler engines as Mercedes.
(*Daimler is Mercedes-Bends own engine factory, kind of same trademark, diffirent name)

Daf, Iveco, MAN. Not so good to drive through snow with -30 degrees celcius. Especially not Iveco, which is made in Italy where it's usually quite warm and blue.

I'm guessing 90-100 flat out with no trailer because I know that a Peterbilt from the same period can do that. Maybe 80 with a trailer?

You need to park the Covet and the Pigeon right near each other, against a wall, with their front ends pointed to the wall. Now let the T75 get up to speed from a decent distance :)

I wonder which would be faster, a T75 with like 20 Pigeons loaded up on a car trailer or a Pigeon?

    Specs we know so far...

    13.1L I6 turbo engine
    13 speed transmission
    100mph+ top speed
    15,000lbs

thats all from what I have seen as of yet...Gabester you need to confirm any of this...but thats what I suspect so far...but I know the engine and transmission are that or somewhere around that..haha

Truck Diesel engines run from anywhere up to 18 Litres mate these engines are built for million miles and they are built tough..

and I guess 400bhp and more than 700ft lbs torque is that what your planning gabester or are you gonna make it more sedate than that?

Indeed, an engine like this is likely undersquare and would feature a very large bore and stroke dimension. This setup favours the low RPM nature of a truck engine. Inline 6 engines are also renown as being very smooth, and there is less parts than say an 8 or 12 cylinder engine, making them a popular choice for many trucks.

A I6 is the typical engine for this type of truck.
Looking at screenshots, my guess would be that it has a load sharing four spring suspension.

Yes, and to make sure there's still plenty of power, they are usually around 10-12 liters and turbocharged. I think a V12 biturbo would be extremely fun. (Maybe make a road train sort of thing? (Like they have in Australia))
