WIP Beta released Hirochi Sunflare 1.2

SushiPro submitted a new resource:

Hirochi Sunflare - Widebody, hybrid turbo i6, aero and facelifted Sunburst. Aptly named for its fenders.

It should be fully electric with like solar panels on the roof and a different rear bumper. That would fit with the name nicely, otherwise I like the design very much

 

This is so cool. A recommendation is a prototype camouflage skin, as it's so "futuristic" that it would be awesome to have that skin.

This is a really neat concept! I wonder if it is possible to make a skin that makes it look "invisible" (i.e. Bunch of tiny cameras and pixels to see the other side) such as this:
Would be neat if that were a possibility

Found a conflicting mod, SkyStunt's SBR4 engine swap is missing textures when this mod is active. Just giving a heads up.

Hybrid cars have combustion engines still, they all have exhausts...

Materials are completely ripped from original sunburst.

Delete materials.cs from mod, completely unnecessary and causes conflicts.

 

I'll remove materials.cs for the next update.

The mesh is being cleaned up. I found holes in the mesh to patch (though they'd never be seen under normal circumstances).

I've redone the front bumper and made config without wheel covers. This means new custom "wide" suspension.


Does the new bumper look better?

 

I like the old one more. It'd be nice if you could have the new one fitted to the standard configs but have the old one as a usable part like 99 did with the S-Series front bumper.

If you could make a stock version without widebody, that would be awesome. Everybody is taking the headlights and taillights from this and slapping it on the normal sunburst.

 

That I will also do, it just means more parts ;(

I'd love to, but I'm won't commit to anything yet as I will likely not have the time to do anything like that. I already have some more vital changes queued before I can consider anything else (engine mesh, dual exhausts, cover jbeams etc.).
