someone help: we cant decide how the mystery machine would look if it was a panel van. so you decide. yay or nay?
No way. I would never release a mod in such an unfinished state. Now it's just a matter of a few days, depending on my schedule. I think you can wait a bit, can't you?
Ok, so... Want to know what's left to do? - Body is currently structured, but defomation of side panels needs some fine tuning. - Body needs colision triangles for all panels except the hood and windshield. - Chassis needs specific front supports for the hood. - Instrument clusters and pedals must be placed and recalibrated accordingly. - RII light emitters must be placed to match the new position of props. - Engine must be replaced with a Chevy unit, with matching headers. Model is done but texturing and animation are not. That's it.
It's slightly overweight, I know, but weight is crucial for handling and overall stability. Every time weight went down, side issues like wobbling and shaking occurred. Weight reduction would have a negative impact on solidity and driveability, too. Mind you the target mass of 11.000/11.500 lbs often quoted is dry weight: no fluids, no fuel, no driver, all present in the simulated vehicle. So nope. Weight is staying as is.
that's true, i'm too excited. i'm hoping to get some stuff for Xmas so i can build a better computer. i'm also shooting for a Xmas digger skin by then so be on the lookout!
Now i have to wait to make an easter or fourth of july skin. --- Post updated --- and can i have some roof shots?
I meant during noon or so on Halloween --- Post updated --- take the truck to the gym, it's all that fuel it eats up in 7 minutes after spawning it
