ive made a drift cart in a few hours the j beam sucks horribly bit its modified and the car does wonderful donuts heres pics
Dude, i think maybe you should take your time in creating a mod (or a forum for a unfinished mod), and not try to rush it and/or ask people to help you because most of the time they have other things to do, or they don't want to help at all. I suggest that you look at some more things in the wiki and some informative forums to get yourself acquainted with the process of modding in BeamNG. You should also practice modeling smaller objects in blender, and try to get them in game by learning how to shape a jbeam more efficiently, and utilizing other attributes associated with it.Time and patience are very important, and determination is one of the key factors in making a good, high quality mod that people will respect. So, as i see that you have been trying to make a mod that gets finished, i think you should take a break and learn some of the things that modding in this game has to offer. I don't want to see people give up on something that they have a strong feeling for, only if they can find it within themselves the strength to keep learning and improving. (just being constructive)
Ive been working on the jbeam its almo pm me if ya wanna test it youll have to build it tho theres no current configs
All i'm saying is that if this forum/mod attracts the more "well acclaimed" people of the community who have an infatuation of quality or integrity of a mod, they might not view yours in a way that it could be viewed if more time was taken to perfect this in the future. But that's just me, and i don't want to impede upon your work or your motivation, i just wanted to look out for you.
Okay... cut the doors in half and get rid of the A Pillar and the windshield, make a roll cage, make some lightweight racing seats, clean up the rear end, put a custom fuel tank where the passenger would sit, custom rpm gauge & speedometer (Maybe have a choice between Metric and Imperial), make an optional livery, optional AWD, I'm going to assume its a turbocharged I4 soo... All you'll really need is a 6 speed if its going to be a drift cart
look up some drift kart pics and base it off that, the model also would use a bit of fixing and editing to make parts fit and look more like a kart
I'm making a kart based on 200bx too! But I don't want to show you a pic because it might make you give up Just make your own version I will make my own
