No shit, that's what I was saying. @MisterKenneth agreed, I'd really like the T-series to be skinnable. I'm not usually the type to ask for stuff, but between how common fancy paint schemes were on older trucks plus how many trucks have company logos on them you would think the T-series would have gotten UVs a long time ago. In other news, the chassis twist looks awesome, I can't wait to make a ridiculously overpowered drag engine for the T-series and be able to lift a front tire off the ground.
Here's the file ... I'm kind of confused that it wasn't mentioned in the changelog. Are we sure it's done? I kind of wish we could get at least one official skin for each car that has a second UV map, if for no other reason than showing modders that the car is available for skinning and getting a menu in the Parts selector.
Im really hoping that well get a new car just because it has been so long that we had a new one and im also guessing that it wont be the bluebuck
I already love the chasiss twist sim, as I've just recently figured out how to tinker around with turbos... My hopes are that: We will get a proper transmission for the T series that I can use with G27. Stronger rear axle for the d - series, as my custom 1100hp diesel monster with drag tires just rips the axle off the truck when on full throttle in 1st and 2nd gear.
...correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't that be almost the nitrogen to oxygen ratio of earth? I don't see how that would destroy an engine(unless it just acts really weirdly).
Anyone think the Pigeon may finally get a config for the old flame skin? (I don't think so, but a low rider NOS equipped Pigeon with a flame paint job would certainly be hilarious).
I think they are adding anti-lag or some sort of exhaust pops which will make me sit for hours watching it...
http://www.tuneruniversity.com/blog/2012/07/whats-so-wrong-with-nitrous/ TLDR: it's an oxidizer which can add a lot of power and therefore a lot of stress, which some engines can handle better than others. Of course if you're feeling irresponsible you can just have a giant shot of N2O and actively try to kill the engine.
Oh, I thought that's what that was, guess I was mixing that in with the screenshots from the development thread. Yeah I don't have a clue then.
The only new thing that I can spot on the video that is different than the current Rally spec Sunburst is ABS, which the current car doesn't have --- Post updated --- Here Is my recreation of the video, I've tried to do about the same things that were shown in the dev video. And the Diamondback's video for comparson: http://media-cdn.beamng.com/zQCRfpBpLQufx6de/zQCRfpBpLQufx6de.mp4 --- Post updated --- And the car from devblog was running manual transmission
The only real difference I see is the gear ratios appear different, with you switching to 5th at 85 whilst Diamond shifts to 4th at 85, possibly a more powerful engine?. To keep the same acceleration through less gears requires more KWs.
