Just a question that I have and I don't feel like making a thread for it and this thread fells fitting place to post this question. Does mods auto-update? My friend is claiming that his mods auto-update , but my don't. If they do auto-update would anyone have any ideas how to get the auto-updating working.
They do not auto-update yet, but will some time soon. The devs are working hard on a new in-game repository that will auto-update mods, aswell as help modders themselves update them.
Thank you for the information, i thought so as well , but was unsure as my friend claimed that his mods auto-update.
With automatics when they are locked up and have a high lockup torque (set at 600 atm) on a 5.50 diff the speedo wobbles in the H15, and the engine debug app is crazy, like it is going 600nm,-300nm 0nm mental values. I can't remove this line as if i do it slips when locked up (and i need the torque headroom for the tuned engines). *edit* i set it to 360nm (10 above 350nm peak from engine) and it still does the speedo wobble, but less than at 600. I know i can just set it on the engines but seriously should this be happening?
I tried to replicate and could only do it with lockup set in first gear leaving from a stop, otherwise its fine up to very high clutch torques and very short gears. If you are doing that, don't you will hit stability issues. Lockup clutches are for fuel economy, if you want the transmission to slip less under high power make the torque converter a larger diameter (lower stall).
I have this same issue. It has been in BeamNG for a while and has never been fixed. Not sure if it will be fixed or not. I would love if it was just at least acknowledged..
It's not a wide problem, just on the H15, on the D15/Roamer there is no problem. Just the H15/45 isn't so well damped? I don't know, but 600nm isn't that high really, on the D15/Roamer I have it set to 1000 and it's smooth (engine debug bounces a bit but not as bad as Van stereo). I'll upload a video soon
very easy to break the rear driveshaft on the Roamer/D15 in low range mode, just push the engine hard enough and it pops
Sorry I think its my diesel mod, 1st gear is quite low so under full throttle with the Torque Converter stalled approx 14000NM of torque to the wheels. Only breaks the rear diff, even with the two front wheels loaded it can't break the transfer case. Note this is all under 4WD mode, even in high range. (I did it by trying to tow uphill on Jupiter gravity, it's fine I guess but maybe a heavy duty driveshaft would be good)
In east coast use when I drive the car into that small fenced area by the houses in that lane. The fence sucks all cars to it and makes them flat and then my game crashes, any suggestions I have not modified the map or cars
1. theres so many houses in east coast 2. mabye its your imagination 3. you probably have a potato computer
I have a 2013 Alienware. so potato and anyway ybr had his car eaten in one of his videos it happens all the time to me
