(imported from here) Here we can see two very different vans and a quite possibly retarded golf cart chasing each other: (imported from here)
What fps do you get man? I realize I've got 2 less cores than you but they're faster cores so logically i should be able to run one car at more than 20fps since 1car=1core right?
I was pulling about 21 FPS with those 3 vehicles. I need a better CPU/motherboard.. My CPU is running at 4.2GHz BTW. (I haven't gotten around to changing the 5.4 back in my signature) Not sure about the 1 car = 1 core thing, but with 1 car I get about 50-80 FPS on Grid depending upon which car it is.
Okay heres a question for you how can this game run 106 cars before it crashed...answer me that...I think it was by who ever did that I forgot your name sorry just yell at me when you see this please...so I can edit your name in here..
my cpu is 3.8ghz stock. I had it to 4.5ghz at one point but didn't realize all my temp monitors were giving me false temps. No idea how hot it got but it shut off. Stock clock hwinfo reports temps up to 70c which sucks. oh well
Pretty sure that was me hahaha Now that I remember that, I will probably try it again today, maybe on my brother's computer too just to see if I can get past that...
Yeah, HWMonitor for me reports false CPU temps. It says it goes from 32f (0c) on idle to about 90-100f under high load. In reality it goes from like 90f to about 115 or 120f. (MSI Control Center gives real CPU temps. I have water cooling just so you know.) Back when I had the stock cooler HWMonitor told me that it was maxing at about 115-120f under high load. (Then, I only ran it at 3.6GHz)
hwinfo64 is different from hwmonitor. Hwinfo and speccy agreed on the temps so I think they're right. Speedfan isn't right for sure. It says the cpu idles under ambient temp. wut.
