But that's like 2 horsepower. I don't think it would be very fun after a little while.

I would love if the Burnside name were to come back into Drive..

    This would be amazing.
If you go a little older too, you could have body options of roadster, tudor, fordor, pickup, speedster, runabout, etc., all for the same car. And with removal of a few parts and custom intake and exhaust, you have a basic hot rod.

The problem with making so many variants is that because of my workflow (the way I do UVs, textures, and panel gaps) I'd either have to model all the variants from the start, and have a gigantic texture (or multiple textures) or have some odd hackjob. I'll hopefully figure something out. I definitely agree that a 1930s car wouldn't be complete without all the variants (tudor, fordor, coupe, convertible, runabout, etc.)

I've always liked Stafford as a direct stand-in for Packard, but that's not quite how Drive companies work; nothing is directly representative of a specific car company. Something like Pierpont or Gladstone sounds like old-money, if that helps.

I can't speak to how to do it, but Mafia would be the place to look for this in a game. The Bolts especially had a lot of variants.

A Caporegime wouldn't have a pickup, but it could have a tudor sedan like the one shown, a business coupe, rumble-seat open roadster, rumble-seat cabriolet, fordor open phaeton, a short wheelbase fordor sedan, long wheelbase fordor sedan, and even a long wheelbase limousine (jump seats & dividing glass). And then, there's straight six vs. straight eight engines and a base and upper trim level (for the higher trim: more vents on the hood, dual spares, two-tone paint, white sidewall tires)

    - - - Updated - - -

I was also wondering if anyone was interested in some other suggestions. I have thought of some others, including a mid-eighties minivan, an early eighties station wagon, a full size late sixties/early seventies personal luxury coupe (bigger more luxurious than a Moonhawk to avoid overlap), and a 1970 or so Grand Marshall sedan (for car chases). If any of those are particularly interesting, I can do a drawing and specify some tech.

Also, as a point of interest, does Drive (at least may be able to) support hidden headlights? It might be a gaming first if it did.

Hidden headlights would be easy :)

As for a large 70s personal luxury coupe: already planned and sketched ;) Just low priority, as we have enough body-on-frame live axle RWD American cars right now. Early 80s station wagon: also already planned and sketched. Late 70s large sedan (like what police would use): already planned and sketched. Mid 80s minivan: already planned and sketched :)

Heh, with all those you're half way to Vice City's car list (The only other things I could think to want would be a big 50s sedan, deluxe trim D15, and a K-car). Looking forward to them, and if you ever need any help with names, designs, or ad copy, I'm always here. ;)

Car Suggestion 1968 Ford Shelby Cobra Mustang

    Hello everybody!

I would like to propose a car that I think would be a good addition to Beam...1968 Ford Shelby Cobra Mustang...this car is a beast of a machine. I would love to model this but I could not do that to save my life. (information is from this website: www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=4950

For some reason, I have always loved to drive around a Chevy Blazer. I don't have a really specific reason; its just a cool vehicle for me.

    Two Car Ideas for BeamNG

While screwing around in the Full Size car (Gavril Gran Marshal), I thought of two cars that I think would be cool to have in BeamNG, I'm not 100% sure if this just counts as a personal thing, but I noticed how some of the cars on BeamNG seem to be based off real cars, like the Gran Marshal might be a 1998/1999 Ford Crown Victoria, or a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis in real life. So I was thinking maybe BeamNG could have their own representation, if not a almost exact replica, of a 1998 (1999 Model Year) Oldsmobile Aurora; and the same thing with a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville.

I rather like the E30, so if I get around to modeling one, I'll chuck it in game too :D

    German Long Wheelbase (ETK 990lr)

What about a heavy, over-sized, long wheelbase car? A German car that has deal with under-steer and soft suspension would be fun and dangerous to drive (especially when plowing into things with over 2.5 tons :p). Long wheelbase cars mid-2000s has fairly simple lines, so it may be easier to model. Suicide doors might be a nice touch, if it fits the car style.
