Updated Grave Digger too. Includes a few more tweaks to the body, improved body texture and new, working instruments. All it needs now is a Chevy motor... Works best in conjunction with 1.12RC.
cant wait to poke at gd. will download it when i get home. --- Post updated --- i just noticed that the rpm needle does not stay centered. it moves slightly to the left and right. other than that i have not noticed any oddity other than the usual body killing bits of the truck on hard impacts. testing video will be up in a bit.
may i suggest adding a bit more shine? the new gd looks like it had some super waxing done. testing video up whenever:
I don't know if this is a game problem or a mod problem, but apparently I was watching one of my older replays (probably with 1.12 beta instead of 1.12RC) and this happened.
It's fairly noticeable, the needle was completely misaligned, even in Blender. I'll be honest: I rushed the beta update, I was going to spend my only day off till Christmas Day with my kid and I wanted to come up with some progress with the mod. So I packed something together in the morning before leaving. Didn't quite work as expected. Again, @Blijo saved the day an realigned the needle while I was out. New beta will come out tomorrow, also including the removal of some redundant lines in the windshield code that prevented the part to come off clean as originally intended. I also made the corner latches a little tighter, so they don't stretch out anymore when panels are about to break off but are still connected to the body through a single beam.
The needle was rotating around the wrong axis, that's quite noticeable. Anyway, jbeam is very good f2ys its quite accurate from what I saw on YouTube. When I started to help on this(coming from the Cadillac DTS), I didn't give a damn about monstertrucks but I'm one of you now
didn't watch the video in fullscreen, now it's visible, also youtube thought 720p was better than 1080p so there was that as well
as a part of my testing, it's required to nitpick at even small things. sometimes they get fixed like the needle. sometimes they dont like the lsd being weird. it's a game to see what to poke next. also off screen, it's required that i break physics at least once. gotta keep my skills sharp.
does the CRD in this group a beta for the newest public version. I dont know what has happened anymore I havent been talking alot anymore, too dang busy
New release candidate version for 1.12 available. What's new: - Fixed instrument gauges. - New props: gear shifter and rear steering switch. - New, semi-automatic transmission with revised shifting logic and quicker shift times. - Adjustable brakes (suggested by @Blijo). - Improved camera modes. --- Post updated --- Reverted all the camera changes. --- Post updated --- Transmission rolled back as well.
I don't really follow the news of the world of monstertrucks, but a friend of mine really loves monstertrucks, and so do I. --- Post updated --- Also I don't see a file for the new Addon Pack.
Not ready yet. Main mod is undergoing significant changes following the complaints I received, so I didn't have time to finalize both.
i was serious about me breaking physics with every update to keep my skills sharp. but this time it was on accident and i happened to be recording.
