Like the title says, this is made for opinions and ideas (concepts, participation in races, etc.) towards Honda or/and Acura.

The Honda Ridgeline upload_2017-10-31_11-57-20.jpeg upload_2017-10-31_11-57-28.jpeg Might never work as a work truck see Company's buy American because reasons and my guess the looks of it is not really good I mean it's basically a Crossover with a truck bed on it

Honda is MUCH more of a success than Chevrolet. Just compare the Malibu to the Accord.

One say that to the Ridgeline and Two I just compare it's size to a Chevy Cobalt from almost 10 years ago the Civic is bigger

Honda wasn't originated from America, as we already know that, but doesn't mean that they had prior experiences of making trucks like Chevy.

The Ridgline's is just Honda's way of making a truck, it's not meant to do what other pickup trucks normally do, but basically they're marketing towards the sort of people who don't always need a pickup truck, but it's there on the odd times that they actually need it. It's not really meant to "properly" go offroad as like, a Toyota Tacoma or Nissan Frontier is capable of doing, but it's capable enough to do "light off-roading" only when the driver has to. It's basically a "family pickup truck" to say the least, pretty much like the "family SUV" the Honda Pilot is as well. I mean, that's been basically what Honda's been focused on for the majority of their models, being more focused on being "family friendly" and such.

Anyway, let's take a look at what Honda's been doing to pretty much most of their cars, apart from a select few. 4 cylinder engines being the "standard" for most of their models along with V6s being their "biggest". FWD, pretty much all of their models, with AWD being related, even when under "normal conditions" the AWD itself operates as FWD with the rear wheels kicking in when it starts to get slippery. The only RWD cars that Honda ever made were literally just a small handful:

The NSX, which was mid-engined, RWD, (current NSX doesn't really "count" in this, because it's AWD with it's hybrid drive-train)

The Beat, also mid-engined, RWD, and it's spiritual successor, the S660.

The HSV-010 GT, front-mid engined, RWD and also with a V8 apart from a couple from F1.

The Passport, which is more or less a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo, which also spawned two uncommon and rather unsuccessful rebadges as well, the Acura SLX, which is a rebadged Trooper, and the Crossroad, which is a rebadged Land Rover Discovery.

Then of course, the iconic S2000, which really should be revived, and then it's "grandfather" the S500,600,800.

And lastly, another tiny kei van/truck is the Acty/Vamos which, like most kei trucks and vans, is mid-engined, RWD, with optional AWD as well.

So, not much, to say the least, though I've always had this idea for a full-sized sedan, luxury or not, to totally break Honda's typical "way of things", though if it were to be an Acura, it'd surpass the RLX, and be up to competition with the likes of the Lexus LS, and the Mercedes Benz S-class. But basically, full-sized sedan, RWD with optional AWD, like the two aforementioned sedans do offer. VTEC V8 for mid-range to highest trims, and then the venerable V6 for the lower end models possibly.
