WIP Beta released Revamped CRD Monster Truck

prolly useless but i worked on the gearing and trans for this, here is a freestyle to show it off. also, the overheating may come on to quick, trying to make it as realistic as possible.

Go find the beamng monster truck groups. There is a subsection called maps. I edited this however

 

could overkill evolution be added because according to the truck bio on the monster jam website it has a crd chassis.

 

It is a modified CRD chassis (I believe).

 

It is a CRD, CRD 1 to be more specific. Looks more like a 2.0 now because the bowtie got so messed up they had to remove it.

 

The center cradle section is different, IIRC Mikey told me they did different tab geometry and steel from standard CRDs.

 

So with the CRD 2.0 pack, will each GD have it's own custom suspension like their real life counterparts? By that I mean will it have a suspension setup that looks different than the one currently on CRD. (two nitrogen shocks for each wheel I believe)

 

No, because the pack will only include GD34, on standard shocks.

 

Are there any plans for creating other skins fo the new chassis? Or will anyone be able to make one? If not I am totally cool with just the regualr grave digger.

I thought GD 27 was a 2.0? I think 23 is a modified crd 1.0 which is why it isn't getting added, but why not 27?

 

Because for now you are getting GD34...

 

23 and 27 are CRD 1.0's, and 34 is a 2.1

 

pretty sure the chassis is internally known as 4.0 at this point.

So... Mod will likely be updated to 1.12 tomorrow.

Grave Digger on the other hand isn't ready yet. No ETA for it right now.
