My God I want this in the game so bad. It reminds me of my car sooooo much. My 92 Chrysler LeBaron is a perfect jalopy.

Well the top is new! The old one had holes in it that my dad tried to fix with bathroom caulk.

When you cover up the rest of the car the rear looks like a Legacy from '89 from that angle :) That's just what it looked like to me off the top of my head, please, if you're a car expert and you think the rear looks nothing like it, don't bash me.

Please explain how air instead of coil spring means you don't need a MacPherson or wishbones or whatever.

The answer is that it changes nothing in this regard.

I could slap double wishbone suspension on all these cars and they'd drive, but it'd be dishonest and unrealistic :/ Air suspension doesn't do anything to change the geometry of the suspension. You still need slidenodes to simulate MacPherson strut geometry.

It's good your not using double wishbone. They're (It's?) the anti-christ to the American land yacht. I'm not experienced with programming, so I really didn't understand why McPherson struts can't be implemented, I was imaging it was literally the sliding of the shock absorbers - sorry for a useless suggestions.

That said, it might be interesting to have a car at some point air suspension, just to see the difference in behavior. Seeing an accurate difference in performance/handling between vastly different cars with unique drive configurations, steering mechanisms, and suspension types is a major appeal for Drive. Air suspension for an 80's car, and maybe even four-wheel torsion bars for a 50's car would be fun to experiment with.

Have you actually read anything in the thread? The cars requiring slidenodes (to simulate MacPherson struts) are on hold until slidenodes are coded. I am currently focusing on finishing the Gavril T75.

Speaking of struts and suspension, I'm curious if we'll be seeing any cars with adjustable torsion bars like the old Mopars had. Would be fun to mess around with different ride settings and leaf springs for ride height, or bumper height (if you know what I'm getting at). Sorry if this is considered off topic.

Keep it up, Gabester, I came from Live For Speed, we had to wait years for some minor update and I was happy.... So take your time, I don't think it will take so long lol, I love all work you have done, and by the way, very nice car.

    Greetings.

Saay... The Bruckell logo looks like the one from the Burnside in RoR. Is there any relation?
:D:D:DI'll be getting BeamNG in a few days:D:D:D

If you look on the Moonhawk's steering wheel, you'll see a stylized "B." Then, if you look at the Burnside's front end, you'll see a similar logo!

So, I wonder if the Burnside will be brought up to BeamNG quality standards and ultimately be ported as a Bruckell, built after or alongside the Moonhawk and before the LeGran.
