Nah, fuck it. Just put them at the wheel of a Ferrari F40 and see how long they complain about the handling before they're halfway into a tree at 120mph.

So, a good few years ago my sister took my dads Camry out for a joyride. She launched about 80 (apparently) off a small but sudden hill, got air, slammed into the next hill and effectively totaled the car. Radiator ruined. Chassis bent too, as well as the dash popping off, airbags deploying... pretty sure the engine actually got moved around too.
Bonus fact: Dad didn't speak to my sister for about 3 months. I mean, like, what do you even say?

American. So MPH. According to her she was "pressured" to go faster by her dumb friends in the car, to which I say

How can you be that...Why...What? I'm really excited about driving but I still drive sensibly when I go on a joyride.

Glorified techdemo? I think not. After all, even though it doesn't seem to improve that much, it actually is a much better game than it was 19 months ago, when I first started playing it. Back then, I struggled to crack 20 FPS with a single Pigeon on Gridmap, with no mods running. Now? I can get 30-35 FPS no problem on Industrial with a single car smaller than the T-Series, with quite a few mods running, while still having decent graphics like the screenshot you see below (please note; I was getting about 10-12 FPS there, but I wouldn't have been able to run Utah with a single car at that speed in 0.5.4.) Now, some of that is down to how I've set up the graphics, and that I've disabled dynamic collisions, but that still shows how much better the game has gotten since its release.

What you saying is true, i started playing beam on my old laptop with 22 fps, then started growing with the updates (and i played with mods) then my laptop suddently stopped having the power that it was and i changed to my cureent pc, but the game is always beeing updated and features beeing added and optimized, now the game is better than ever (note: i played it and had a lot of fun with a intel hd graphics 3000 :p )

I used to get 45 fps on ECUSA with the T-series at 1280x1024 resolution, now I get 60 fps with two vehicles on ECUSA with higher graphics settings at 1080p.

I used to be uncomfortable playing at 5760x1080, but now I get a fairly solid 40-50FPS.
The vehicle collisions have improved as well, but even with as much content additions and optimization patches there still kind of isn't that much to actually do. You could say it's past the tech demo stage, but then it's in beta and it's been there for a few years. The are doing better than BugBear though.

People who get bored and/or fed up with BNG.d lack the creativity to generate their own situations. Many folks want to be spoon-fed content, direction, etc. Even in open-world, open-ended games, if people aren't nudged or pushed down a path, they will get bored with the game. In BNG.d, one has to take the time to think about what they want to/can do and then try it out. But, a lot of folks don't want to take that time. That's where scenarios come into play - there is a defined goal and purpose. But, even those have limited replayability.

If the user lacks the ability or the desire to CREATE the situations to put BNG.d through its paces, that user will end up bored because the game doesn't have end-game goals. Frankly, it shouldn't: it's a simulator. Do what you want to with it. Make it your own.

Agreed. That's why I think Beam is a PERFECT roleplay game. You make your own story line and make your own things with the game, and it simulates that very well. In a way, this sort of goes to show how many people who beg for more frequent updates forget that there's mods where you can make your own custom game with Beam, as it's an excellent foundation to build upon. If there were more frequent updates, then we would have a lot of broken mods on our hands, and modding would just be gone completely.

The people who complain about cars being impossible to drive honestly piss me off. BeamNG.drive is one of the first driving games I've played in years, and I started completely oblivious to the physics and handling in this game. That's when I figured out that smashing the throttle consistently was a bad idea, and quickly warmed to the way vehicles drive in this game. Nowadays, I only have trouble with vehicles that have welded differentials, and that's probably because I hardly use them. Seriously, think about what a real car would do if you club-footed the throttle from a standstill or turned the steering as far as it could go while traveling at 100 mp/h. Your problem stems from your own stupidity, not the game.

I really never get bored of this game. I of course leave it from time to time for a month or so to do something else but i always come back to this game. I never really spawn more than 1 car and i spend most of my time in freeroam just cruising and practicing my driving. partly why i never get bored of this game is that it has such and good modding community.

Remember the "Car Lover" guy, who kept saying that not all hits on the bumper are equal, that bumpers can deflect, that radiators are actually quite weak things, etc.

    It was me.

Well, since he's polish apparently, and many poles properly hate germans for no apparent reasons just because of the events in WW2, I'm pretty sure he's serious. Some of my relativesin poland absolutely hate and want to kill every german (I'm not overexaggerating).

Complete translation of that review would be:

The game is bad 'cause it's german note: are you fucking retarded?

    pros
    + the crashes are nice
    + sorta sandbox
    + Maluch

    cons
    - no multiplayer
    - it's boring note: thats cause youre not creative enough
    - bad maps note: just wait for WCA
    - german note: did you have to say it twice?
