There would be no reason to rename the Barstow, as it would be too unrealistic. In the late 70s/early 80s, most of the Big Four pony car nameplates (Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, Cougar, AMX) were still in use.

Barstow is more like Ford Torino with Mustang's drivetrain. And Fox Body Mustang (Risebird) is significantly smaller than Barstow, that's why I changed the name.

Gabester himself said the Barstow is like a Mustang, only a notch bigger.

Also, the Fox Body Mustang was smaller than the real-life 1st gen Mustang.

That's why I didn't call this car Barstow, because I wanted to emphasize the difference between the big Barstow and smaller Risebird.

You're trying to be realer than reality.

Well, I'm just trying to make things different than in real life. Ford never changed the Mustang name. Barstow and Risebird would be the same class, only, as I said above, Risebird would be smaller.

The names were never changed for an actual reason - the makers were trying to capitalize on the image the brands got in the muscle heyday.

Gavril would most probably also involve such a strategy - remember, it's meant to be a typical US automaker.

lets keep this to a suggestion thread instead of just arguing and mocking others please. I don't like it when the community argues and im sure others agree.

    On a lighter note, 2018-2020 Civetta Palle-Enormi 70th edition

No...no, we don't need BeamNG to become GTA 5 with that sort of a naming style. Just no....

OT: Welp, I'm not sure what vehicles to suggest that haven't already been suggested, to be honest.

A '60s endurance racecar. Preferably italian, but japanes, german, or american would be fine too.

I wonder if the developers even look in this cancer pit at all.
    O.T.:
BeamNG could use a 2000s American executive sedan.
Why? Because we don't have a mid-2000s car, we don't have an executive sedan and we don't have American cars of 21 century (except H-series, but it is a van, not a passenger car anyway).
It could have been manufactured between 2002 and 2008.
Engines: V6s and V8s, ranging from about 240 to 380 hp.
Transmissions: automatic on all factory models, but aftermarket manual conversion would be possible.

They definitely use to. This is a lot better than it was a few months ago, so I wouldn't rule out the unlikely possibility.

2000 Honda CR-V. This is the car I drive IRL and I think it would be interesting to see.
