I have been trying to drift my custom Hirochi SBR4 drift edition for about an hour, with no luck. I have no idea how to drift xD Here is the first attempt at drifting: Here is the more successful second attempt: Edit: Ignore the music, pay more attn. to the content lol Edit V2: YouTube has broken the quality...
My tip is to hit spacebar just as you turn, make sure you have the accelerator flat down as you go around the corner and also make sure that your front wheel is going the same direction as where you want the car to go whilst the tail of the car is out to the side. If you put these together you should be able to get a smooth drift out of it. it also depends on the road conditions, depending on map presets
Start with fwd(Covet with stage 2 turbo) and hand brake drift then move to(Sunburst RS) and then Try The grand Marshall cop car RWD and through this you will understand more about the cars direction.
Thanks man, My handbrake button is RB on my controller. lol I chose the SBR4 because I could handle it at higher speeds, the covet I found was just too slow tbh, also, I have tried the sunburst with the drift ESC, I can't seem to control it half the time.
ETK I-Series with the drift steering rack is a great car to learn. Put some drift tires on it, stick it in second, and have some fun. The SBR4 hill climb edition on the procedurally generated tracks is also good. I have L3 (Is that what it's called? The button that the left joystick is on. Having it on the steering joystick makes it easy to activate while paying attention to steering) bound to handbrake.
or you can use a better car than an sbr4. that crap is understeer hell. go for roamer, no joke. toss the stage 3 supercharger in there and it's the easiest car to drift. make sure it's rwd too.
Some of the larger wheels have drift tire options. I don't know which, but I know the Clockwise 533 17x8 does (they are on the 200BX drift config)
