In Poland you either love or hate German Stuff... I'm not the fan of german things just cause they are just all boring looking... If this game would be about german cars and with german maps only... I would be that person to write a review like that. The love/hate thing isn't really about the WW2. It is more about politics, as Poland is basically divided between 2 parties, which one is more Russia oriented and the other one is more towards Germany. There are some people like me who don't really care about politics and who are trying to get out of this weird country when they get enough money to settle in GB or US
Well, that depends. My grandparents and uncles are really going on about WW2. But for younger people, I can imagine the political stuff is more impaortant.
totally on-topic guys. keep up the good work /s ot: Lots of these reviews are retarded. As if people didn’t care. I think majority of the reviews are troll reviews to piss off people who legitimately care about reviews.
To me, the vehicles definitely seem to lack some weight or the gravity is a hair off. In fact, now that I am writing this, I think I'll make a vid where the gravity gets adjusted by a small increment and compare them. As for the grass and dirt, I live on a country dirt road and drive my charger like a dirt racer. The game has much less "gravel grip" than an actual dirt road, imo. I think, though, that goes back to the overall weight of the vehicles in-game. Neilogical recently put out a vid of an early version of BeamNG and that was one of his first takeaways: the older versions had cars that felt heavier. In regards to most of the other negative reviews, what part of "...dynamic soft-body physics vehicle simulator..." don't some people understand? It doesn't say "driving game." Now, if we just had sirens and horns... ;-)
I agree.swerving a small 30-year-old hatchback without any electronic assists on grass would probably roll it over IRL, but it's too light and stable.
Umm... Handling isn't really good in this game... thee guy in the negative review is a liiiiiiiiiittle bit right. At least for me, whenever I try to turn left for example at 12-15 mph, the car just starts skid around before it crashes into a tree, or a lamppost...
Welcome back to being smart with peter! If you criticize something, you're not a "hater". You don't have to like everything.
To continue with Rainvest's post, are you constantly flooring the gas and using maximum steering? If so, then you really need to stop doing that. Beam is not an arcade game where you can go full-throttle into 90-degree corners at 100 miles per hour, or drift around . Sure, the hillclimb cars come closest, but those cars' aero only work well at higher speeds on sweeping corners. Beam's handling model is fantastic, truly top-notch compared to most other games. It can have a really steep learning curve for some people, but once it is mastered, you can pretty much drive anything in Beam.
Who said that if you criticize the game, you're a hater? cause as long as it's constructive criticism, feel free to do so.
O shit. I though it's about mods. lol sorry im wrong --- Post updated --- O shit. I thought it's about mods. lol sorry guys ,I was wrong

At least for me, whenever I try to turn left for example at 12-15 mph , the car just starts skid around before it crashes into a tree, or a lamppost... Also, not corners, just simple, "(" or ")" turns. Oh hey, you' re the guy from my post...!...
You can fail spectacularly at any speed, in any car, with the right (or wrong) driving. Even at low speeds, turning the wheel to full lock will still render the front wheels somewhat useless as they will slip and lose grip, for example. This happens alot with keyboard users, as the steering is full lock or nothing without a proper filter.
Full steering lock + full throttle = understeer. It's amazing how many people don't know simple physics like that.
