Some bugs and inadequacies

    • When switching transmission, engines sometimes make a high pitched revving sound which destroys the valvetrain.
    • The game is by far the most unstable during replays.
      • The vehicle sometimes expands, drifts and dematerialises for a couple seconds when it is rewinded.
      • Once a camera broke, and the game crashed later.
      • Once there was an imaginary vehicle in the middle of the map after exiting a replay with a new vehicle, and the game crashed later.
      • The vehicle tilts in frames, which causes the tilt to not suit the direction in slow motion and the orbit camera to shake.
    • If a vehicle was to impact the floor or a spinner in high speed, it gets distorted.
    • Smacking a vehicle with a sports car causes a resounding stereo bang noise due to the impact sounds going at the same time at high velocity.
    • The engine sometimes survives being crushed when it shouldn’t.
    • AIs sometimes keep driving into poles or flooring it for nothing.
    • AIs sometimes snag walls near spawn points, and are slightly more dangerous in-lane.
    • Cars can get caught in trees.
    • Need help on the acronyms.
    • Try harder on the surface hit boxes.

    First off, are you using any mods? Cleared cache? Re-installed the game? Using Safe Mode?

    Transmission bug: That doesn't happen on my end. Which car(s) does this bug affect, and which transmission(s) does this affect? I know that I once had a similar bug with the Blue Collar (a modded vehicle), but that was caused by fitting 15x9 STX wheels on a truck with a tiny track.

    Instability during replays: This has been an ongoing issue for quite some time. Admittedly, it's a lot better than it was before, but I reckon that replays are going to be improved with each update.

    Distortion from high-speed impacts: I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done about that. After all, we are talking about impacts which are unlikely to happen in real life (i.e. a vehicle falling to Earth with Sun gravity, or getting smacked by a 200+ mile-per-hour spinner).

    Sports car sound: Which sports car(s) does this happen with? The Bolide? The 200BX? The SBR4? The K-Series? All of them?

    Engine being too strong: True, the engine shouldn't be as invincible to crushing as it is (considering that the electrics would have been completely buggered by the crushing).

    AI woes: Unfortunately, that's just how the AI works right now.

    (flee mode with the AI driving a stock ETK 856td with all electronic aids on (ignore my Miramar; I left it rolling accidentally)


    As for the others....I'm not sure...
