I'm trying to drive with the keyboard, but my inputs are not smooth as there is no way to modulate the inputs.
What I would like is for the developers to implement bindable steering , accelerator and brake inputs in 10% intervals between 0% and 100% (so 10 bindable intervals). Then I could choose to bind my hard steer left and slight turn left and anything in between to different keys on the keyboard. Same applies to accelerating and braking. Of course that might be a lot of keys for me to have to use, but thats my problem! The flexibility would be really appreciated!

if i remember right they are going to implement something soon that will decrease the harshness of the keyboard so that we can drive everything alot more smoothly.

Yes I am aware of that and how they will make it speed sensitive and thats good too. I do still like the idea of being able to steer so hard that it does induce a skid like it would in RL. After all this is a simulator where there is a lot of reward for those who drive badly and crash on purpose as for those who try and drive smoothly.

In City Car Driving they have a configurable half accelerator position which is actually quite helpful, a bit like the difference between walking and sprinting in FPS's. I still find that does not have quite enough options for all circumstances but is a reasonable trade off between ease of use and capability.

If we have 10 preset levels on every variable axis, then we can assign buttons, to all 10 (probably overkill) or a selection of them (eg. 10% 40% 75% 100%).
