I've just updated Beam NG and it is very laggy now, especially on the New West Coast map. If anyone can help, thanks!

Without any indications of your hardware specifications, I'd just assume it's too slow and that you need to lower your graphics settings.
West Coast USA is the most complex map out here at the moment, so it requires adequate hardware to run properly.

I'm running a 960, i5 and 12GB of ram and it used to run perfectly. I've found the lag comes when I load party occasionally

My r7 360 runs this map 30 fps (which Is fine by me but when I load up some mods it brings it down to 7 and bringing up a new mod that doesn't lag the game stays at 7, is this for another thread? ( Btw mods like the bluebird school bus work fine but mods like on the pigeon don't work, I hope this is a software problem not a bad hardware problem)

I noticed that I can no longer play the original EAST Coast USA at 60 FPS; it's more like 47 FPS (which, for some reason, feels much choppier than 47 FPS should).

delete vehicles folder under cache and hit CTRL R ingame this should restore FPS

it seems there's a leak in the vehicle cache folder upon multiple/consecutive vehicle part changes
