Haha, yeah. You have to launch it at around 7k and hit the nos right away, due to it bogging down at low rpms, due to "turbo lag"? I think? I'm not sure lol. The peso does have the red valve cover at least.The 4g63 is a wonderful engine for its time. Hopefully beam will officially support a more variety of engine mods in the future. Other than the standard 3 turbo choices, CAI and exhaust.
Just broke my record with a 7.556 1/4 mile @190mph. I did go faster as you can see in the top right, but not by much. Yes the car did pop a tiny - tiny wheelie.
Max turbo and max nos, with the new transmission... I made / tuned the race suspension and added on all the other parts. I increased the engine strength in the jbeam to around 1200torque, to simulate a built engine with billet internals and a stronger block. It makes around 1100hp but im not too sure exactly haha. The nos to me is just something I can use to boost the power as the turbos max out too quickly. I looked on the repository for more turbos but there isn't any up to date mods for the sunburst in terms of the ability to change the max and min psi.
Yes i did say that, i used the indestructible engine block mod actually now that i think of it... I only did that as i got frustrated that there isn't any turbos that allow me to go above 38psi officially. Also do you have any idea why my game does (this) when it reloads and then i get a instant drop to 10fps? Mmm my second pc seems to do that intermittently now ok..... Strange. Didn't do it again of course when i start recording it Edit This run doesn't actually count now that i think of it. As then i would be going against from what i first said. I wish the devs would actually decide to add in engine upgrading and more turbos instead of getting the modders to do it or us to go into the jbeam files and change it to unrealistic values.......... So then i don't have to force a 350shot of nos just to get a semi realistic power number than i would've gotten if i had a built engine and a good turbo in the game.
I was about to post a 6.9 time I had but I had a modified torque mod engine in it from my muscle car pack mod (it’s in approval). But it breaks the rules, so I’m still trying to break that 9.1 time I had inside a vanilla moonhawk
It doesnt matter really any more to me, if it isnt insanely fast then its allowed lol. as a 6.9 is legit and is possible irl.
7.602 at 175ish mph with the gavril barstow (started with The Awful as a base) running 250 shot nitro. dynograph shows it at roughly 1325 HP and around 1825 lb/ft torque. i think in its current config itle run a 7.59 but its difficult to keep the front tires on the ground at launch. the thing is a wheelie machine haha. all i gotta do is get one perfect launch and i think a 7.59 will happen

Not an better time, but here is a video of drifting the sunburst. I did get a 7.6 second 1/4mile i have a video somewhere just can't find it. I can say for sure as the turbo is maxed out and the car will make 1100+ hp with nos. But nos runs out after 1 run. For the drifting, I put the max amount of power to the rear wheels which is 80% to the rear and 20% to the front. I wasn't using nos, just the turbo and my tune maxed out with sport tires. I did find that the new transmission likes to stall the car when coming to an halt as if the auto clutch is not engaging.
I got the Barstow drag with nitrous to 6.995 seconds. It was tuned so the engine lasted just long enough for the 1/4 mile. I will have another go at it soon with a recording.
I don't have a vid right now, but I got a Covet to do a 9. something. I did mod it, but nothing insane or unrealistic. Mods include: 4-Speed drag auto with ratios and torque converter tweaked to fit the Covet Drag slicks on the front Swapped in 200BX engine with slightly increased strength and power Other than that, I maxed the turbos and added a 200kw shot. It's based on the track variant.
