I guess I'll jump on the meme wagon since everyone else has.

Go on, ask anything as long as it's SFW, etc., etc.

 

Is there no McDonalds in Alaska? I went on a cruise there once and didn't see any of the fast food chains the rest of North America is used to.

 

There's one in Juneau. I should know I saw it with my own eyes. There's probably some in Anchorage and Fairbanks.

 

Juneau was the place where I didn't get off the ship due to rain. That probably explains it.

 

Oh, plenty. Several in Anchorage, one in Wasilla (closest to me), one in Palmer, one in Eagle River, not sure about elsewhere. I do actually work at a burger joint but it's not a McDonald's and I'm not saying what it actually is to avoid identification by current/future employers.

EDIT: Actually two in Wasilla, forgot about the one in the Wal*Mart.
