This has gone way too far. We'll moderate these kind of threads from now on, and i suggest not to create joke threads like this. "ask a bird" kind of threads are a waste of time and space. If you have a special thing, like "Ask a car classic owner" - it might make sense. But then, why doesn't that person then post cool pics or what cars he has instead? That would have been a lot cooler? So, instead of having people ask you things, tell them what interesting things you are working on, what you do in your life, etc. Content that matters, not random, useless clutter please. This forum is supposed to be family safe place and not one to share your darkest or sexual things or alike. And no, we do not care if you are gay, white, black or whatever. We even removed any type of gender from the complete website to reflect that. However, we do not provide a platform to discuss your sexual preference on here, please use other websites for that. Thanks!
I find the ask a bird thread to be a comedy thread but the other (Non human) ones, they were a bit over the top and not appropriate. But hey what do I know I don't own the site.
Now I feel really bad for making an ask me anything thread earlier. I honestly had no intention of creating a useless spammy thread, I just saw other people doing it and hopped on the trend. (;•͈́༚•͈̀)

That sounds like something that would be better fit for a single thread. I think half the problem with the ask me posts were that there were so many. It was redundant and just created spam. The ask me threads would have been better if it was just one single thread, or if they were done somewhere else, such as user profiles. With user profiles especially, inappropriate questions could be easily deleted. However, that’s just reflecting on what could have been done, not what’s should be done now. As Tdev said, there’s really no point to the ask me threads, and significanty better alternatives exist.
No, it was meant as a parody of the other "ask me" threads that were starting to show up. I really shouldn't have let it get out of hand, but I knew the mods would delete it eventually so I just rolled with it (not realizing that other people would start creating them too...)
