How to model the official vehicle?

Hello I am trying to make a mode by modifying the modeling of another official vehicle, but I am not sure how to open the modeling of the official vehicle. What should I do?

 

Learn blender

 

I know that it is made of blender. But I do not know how to open the dae file ..

 

Take the .dae file from the folder, open blender, edit the file

 

1. Open Blender
2. Go to File -> Import -> Collada (.dae)
3. Import it & start editing
4.
5. Profit

 

where would someone find these DAE files to import

 

This is for jbeam, but you can get the model as well/

 

\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles\vehicle_name.zip\vehicles\vehicle_name\vehicle.dae

 

thanks. my files were in a way different place so after some more searching i was able to find it
