Hi there, i love your mod. I got BeamNG Drive through HumbleBundle, and it won't let me update. (I'm pretty broke at this point, so can't buy game again.) I'm stuck on version 0.5.5.0.2290. I really love your mod... just one problem... most cars don't have driveshafts! This means that they will eather not drive or that they are only FWD. Might be worth looking into. Affected vehicles are the convertibles (Btw, convertible taillights are out of place on this version) and the extended body sedans. The Scallotas also have bright orange windows too. I don't know what you can do about this sir, but I just thought I might let you know. Running latest mod version.

 

0.5.x uses the old Drivetrain code which was completely replaced in 0.8.x (December 2016), your version of the game is too old for this mod (and bernd's other recently updated mods) to function properly. Try contacting the devs at support.beamng.com for help in updating the game (or converting the HB key to Steam).

 

I think Humble Bundle have an option to give you the Steam key or either your PC is the problem.

1.41 and older I suppose since that was before the powertrain update

 

I really like this mod, it adds a lot of variety to the ETK 800. However, the rear suspension on the coupe and other short wheelbase versions is missing a lot of parts, mainly the racing spec suspension stuff. I edited the jbeams a bit, and found that rather than using an entirely new suspension for the short wheelbase cars, you can simply copy the default rear suspension and translate it forwards ~10 cm, so it fits. As far as I can tell, it works fine, doesn't break the existing configs, and allows you to carry over settings from the stock ETK 800. I can send you the jbeam if you want.
