BeamNG Christmas Modding Competition

Information:
- Back in the days of Rigs of Rods, we would hold modding competitions. This was always a great way to motivate people to learn how Rigs of Rods content creation worked. So not only did we get to see the long time members create some fresh well made content, we got to see some new comers enter the modding scene. Back in the day I learned the basics of modelling and node/beam work because of a ATV competition that was held.

Since the Holiday season is right around the corner, what better time to do a Christmas theme build-off?

Rules & Regulations:
- Absolutely no stolen content! Even if you have permission to use the part, it will not be tolerated. The point of this competition is to show your skill, not to show how well you can rip-off another person's work. (Note: modifying of official vehicles is legal. No pre-made pieces)

- The car must be a Christmas Parade themed, whether it be as huge as a Macy's Parade Float, or just a covet with dollar-store nose and antlers.

- Anything goes, take the cab of the D15 and make it a flat plain with some trees on it, turn the covet into rudolph, or go above and beyond with a one off vehicle. If there is any confusion if the vehicle you want to make fits this rule just ask.

- Judging will be done by the community, via a poll. So in this case, your build must be released in this thread.

- Teams are encouraged! It's just another way to improve your build for everyone to enjoy. You may only make one entry, no team and solo entries for one competitor.

- Teams will be limited to groups of 3.


Judging guidelines: Not rules, per-se. But helpful tips to make sure judging goes as smoothly and fairly as it can.

- Looks aren't everything. Look for well-crafted JBeams, a messy JBeam can often be hidden beneath a good model

- Handling and Performance. A vehicle is nothing if it doesn't perform realistically, while also being enjoyable for you

- Visuals. A vehicle should look just as good as it performs physically (If you have the know-how you should look for poor textures and wireframes on the vehicle

-The winner (or members of a winning team) of the contest shall receive a $10 Steam Gift Card

Competition begins December 6th, at 12:00AM Eastern Standard Time and submissions have to be put in before December 24th, 2017. Judging will end January 1st, 2018 at 12:00AM Eastern Standard
Time.

Honesty, I'm not sure. I have some ideas, but it's going to be hard to make something in less than 25 days.

 

I have an idea how about a 2017 moonhawk I had a plan started and we could make some stuff for Christmas for it like a bow and stuff and skins
