I've noticed that some lights in the game do not act like real automotive lights do.

If you press the brake on a real car the brake lights illuminate at a specific high brightness. If you turn the tail lights on they illuminate at a specific low brightness. When you press the brake while the tail lights are on they illuminate at the same brightness as they do when the tail lights are off. Likewise, in countries that allow red turn signals (indicators/blinkers/etc) they shine at the same brightness whether the tail lights are on or off.

Also in those countries if a light is shared by the brake and turn signal the turn signal overrides the brake light. This means that if you hold the brake and use a turn signal that side's light will blink on and off as if the brake light wasn't on at all.

Front position/parking lights and turn signals act similarly but the rear footage is good enough to demonstrate. For ease of reference I will mention tail lights exclusively.

However, in-game the each light seems to add a "step" in brightness to the current setting. There seem to be 4 states for shared tail/brake/indicator: Off, low, medium, and high. And 3 states for tail/brake or tail/indicator: Off, low, and high. So using the D-Series as an example (tail/brake/indicator) Pressing the brake turns on dim lights (low). Turning on the tail lights while holding the brakes will increase the brightness to medium.

The other issue is that in-game the turn signal does not override the brake light but instead shines even brighter. Using the same example, holding the brake and turning on the indicator will flash between low and medium. Turning on the tail lights will increase that to flashing between medium and high.

I've added some links below to demonstrate what I'm talking about.

I'm hoping at some point this can be worked on.

I really don’t see any issue with what you’ve described. All cars are different, I’ve seen cars that have lighting systems like in the game, I’ve also seen cars with systems like the Ranger.
