To improve reading comprehension actually requires that they read something. Which I think may be a forgone conclusion...

The world as we know it has ended. Lamborghini unveiled their new Urus SUV. Thoughts?

Apparently they're planning on putting out as many Uruses (Uri?) as both the Aventador and the Huracan combined. I hope they don't; Lamborghini styling doesn't belong on an SUV. It just looks ugly. Of course, if this makes them money, then potentially they can put out a replacement for the Huracan or the Aventador, or a new model altogether.

I predict that this will be the same as when Porsche introduced the Cayenne back in 2002. It might cut a lot of exclusivity out though.

This is not surprising at all coming from Lamborghini. They have any number of Volkswagen Group platforms freely available to them, so why not take one and slap bonkers Lamborghini styling and performance on it? I'm surprised it took this long.

I Hate the Urus. Lambo should stick where they belong, not making Crossovers.

I think their German overlords are far too sensible for that, but they've most likely already thought of it. Probably have some napkin sketches of a pickup truck lying around too.

Lamborghini do have some heritage in the area of making off road vehicles thanks to the LM002. Not that the Urus is strictly that "off road".

Could be a super nice GT car though to compete with the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso.

They did make a concept golf that was very fast once. It is called the Golf W12. Just as the name says, it has a W12 pushing to 650HP. But, it staid a concept car, and never went into production.

    Its not the same thing.

    One is a Crossover.
The other is basically a Military Vehicle screaming cool.

Lamborghini would die if this was an actual thing:p
    Thank goodness its not.

I think the issue isn't cross overs even. Lamborghini's brand style doesn't apply well to anything with an engine in the front. Since their style is wedge shaped cars. Personally I don't hate their new SUV though, I think it looks ok, even if it is a little odd. But I think they could have pulled it off better.

However I am not their biggest fan, I don't like their toy like styling that looks straight outta hotwheels.

The point is that Lamborghini, unlike Ferrari, has a long history of making whatever they damn well please. This is not some wild deviation from their heritage.
