No backfire

It's very much a minor problem, but I've found that I am not getting any backfire effects on any vehicles in the game. I thought it was a really nice visual change after the West Coast update when it was implemented, but it seems to have been broken for me since the first patch. Has anyone else been having this idea, or do they have any suggestions for how to fix this?

 

You shouldnt be getting backfires anyways, they didn't add backfires. They added afterfires though, perhaps that's what you mean?

 

Only certain vehicles afterfire, Try the drag moonhawk, and if it does not work on that clear cache, and if that also does not work, try a clean re install

 

Aye, my bad. Used the wrong word. I'll try clearing cache, though.

 

Clear cache, verify integrity, then try safe mode. If its still not working after trying those do a clean install

 

Seems to work after doing all that and running safe mode. Going to see if it works on the normal game.

I get the sound effect on the regular game, but not the visual. Going to do a fresh install.

 

too late to tell you now, but sometimes you cant see it, unless you were in a car that does it a lot

 

It seems that it was caused by Cessni's graphics mod. When I uninstalled that, everything seemed to work again.
