What does the cache do?

    Why does Beamng.drive have a cache? What does it do? Is there a way to disable it?

    You know how everything is zipped? Well, unzipping takes time and resources, so cache is a special file holding some of the unzipped data, as well as other things. Not 100% sure, but seems like that is it.
    Why disable cache? Speeds loading by many, many times.
