The AWD systems in Mitsubishi's are awesome though, criminally underrated.

 

Best for what? Hauling the kids to soccer practice?

 

I was referring to Alfa Romeo: the '80s are long over, nowadays Alfa Romeos are as reliable as anything else.

Also, build quality (perceived quality) has very little to do with reliability.

Oh, well in that case I agree, but I doubt he's getting one less that three years old. As for build quality, yes, I see where you're coming from, but I wasn't just talking about stuff like the interior trim and panel fitment. I don't think the Renegade is three years old yet but for now it's doing fine, and the JK is seven years old and hasn't had any major problems.

As someone who works for a car rental company and has driven pretty much every 2018 vehicle sold in Canada, Mitsubishi's have went down the gutter. Outlanders drive like a clunky econobox.

As far as I've noticed, best suvs I have driven so far are the 2018 Durangos, 2018 Santa Fe XL's, and the Ford Escapes.

 

I think they have always been a bit mediocre, even their performance cars.

My brother is getting an alfa because he likes it and i know alot of friends with fiat puntos and mitos and they never really have had problems maybe a plastic interior but as far as im concernd that isnt a problem and were fine with that. And the biggest problem with a polo for him is the insurance because theyre super expensive for him nearly twice as much as the alfa. Also we dont want to drive over 100km for a good car and the only polos we have here are some super base line silver ones wich cost more than the alfa wich has better equipment and often fewer kilometers on it

Nice to see the HSV return to form with new cars. But then, IMO the Camaro should be renamed as the Monaro in Australia.

 

If the Camaro was still based on the Holden Commodore like it was from 2010-2015 I would agree, but since its on a completely new Chevrolet platform, it doesn't really fit the name. Im happy with it keeping the Camaro nameplate

 

What's special about the Silverado in the back? Supercharged?

 

Knowing KIA, it will be super reliable and quite budget-friendly, but they're going to need a whole new fleet of these in a decade after the door panels fall off and the interior plastics rot away.

Nah they just made it uglier to scare off fords.

 

The Camaro & Silvy are both factory, its just special because they've never been officially sold in Australia before.

 

You guys haven't had the Camaro? I know it used to be based on the shortened commodore so it wasn't that different, but ever since it's been on the alpha platform I figured Chevy would do their best to get it over there.
