All I know is that a racing seat weighs around 4 - 5 pounds or whatever it is in kilograms. (Weight does vary) --- Post updated --- uhhh... what are you talking about??.... its not like this mod is a whole new company trying to do the exact same thing, NOPE, so basically its perfectly fine to say or use NASCAR as a description or a name of something. Or other words its technically not stealing the name.
Thanks for the info about the seat just let me convert that to proper units that make sense . Also im pretty sure regardless of how small of an impact using the nascar name will be i still cant use any copyrighted names if i want it to be allowed on the repo (which i do) i think im going to go with the name GASCAR ( global asociation for stock car auto racing) that way it can be perfectly at home blasting around hirochi raceway. Plus GAS CAR is even more of a car pun name than nascar ever was. --- Post updated --- I have to rule out the barstow burnside and moonhawk just because of how different they would have been compared to this one, the new pessima will most likely be the next body i make.... after the mod is released of course. The suburst will be a bit more trickey because i have to make its body fit onto the d series wheelbase but it is do able. The grand marshal is definitely possible. Not so sure about the old pessima though. Probably by that point i will have started working on something else anyway --- Post updated --- I could probably use this chassis to make something a bit like ken blocks hoonicorn but for the moonhawk and barstow. Might be an idea for a future mod. Wont take nearly as long to make once this is out. I will see about that next year
Let me know when you get a working car into the game, cause this is looking really, really good. Keep it up!
The fastest i have got the barstow to go with the nascar engine, transmission, and diff installed is about 308 kph (191.4 mph) But bearing in mind the nascar truck will be lighter, more aerodynamic, generate a hell of a lot more downforce and of course a hell of a lot more grip. But all this can be sorted out once the car is in its final stages of being made. When all the weights and aerodynamics are completed
Ok, good to know:] BTW you are doing amazing at this! I can't wait to race this truck around ate-ona with the AI!!
Wow, a lot of work in this. Excellent work! So much detail and I truly appreciate it. Once again..... Excellent work!
On page 38 you were debating weather the truck will do a blowover or not. And you were saying that the FR17 does blowovers but they weren't realistic. The FR17 would probably do a realistic blowover if the frontwas heavier. Cause the front of the FR17 always lifts up higher than the rear, which makes it unrealistic. So I think the truck will do a good blowover:]
