I won't make a new thread for it, to prevent spam threads, since it's only a map. I will probably post pictures here, if I'm allowed. but i'll continue it, because it's a dumb idea i had to execute, like my chicken..
I have an Escort like that, but in light blue (can't really tell what color yours is, seems white to me, but could also be blue just like mine).
THEORY: Bridge Constructor Portal is going to be a vehicle (ha ha) for the announcement of Portal 3. ARGs, anyone? Could happen. Anyway, from what I hear, it's actually an okay game.
I think I want my next car to be a hilariously depreciated V8 or V12 luxury sedan. I'm talking Lexus LS-4XX, Jag XJ8, Mercedes S-class. Don't know why, I blame my dad for owning a Lexus LS430.
So I've been off of the PC for 30 minutes and went back on just to see this message on the desktop: Steam has to reinstall the game to verify integrity since Avast refused to remove the file from it's "Virus Chest."
There's really nothing I care for on my computer, so I just don't use an antivirus atall. It's probably not the smartest thing, but nothings gone wrong yet. Also, can not sleep whatsoever. And it's been like 3 hours now... Any tips? (apart from 'stop starring at your phone')
Nothing beats a free power amplifier, even if you have to fix a bodged fan replacement... Just twist the wires together and wrap them in electrical tape, it'll be fine... Not on my watch bucko! Also got the new caps in for my speakers, crossovers all nice and recapped now, they sound a lot better, most of the original caps where measuring double the original value.
It's 2am and I'm on winter break. I'm in my room instead of out getting freaked up. Not good times, folks.
I've finally gotten around to watching The Last Jedi. My thoughts: Spoiler: Thoughts Please, please use spoiler tags when/if responding to my comment. Spoiler: ACTUAL Thoughts First off, yes the Porgs were annoying. I was just glad to see that they had as little screen time and plot relevance as they did. Sadly, so did Chewbacca. I'll say this, for a conservatively long mid-trilogy movie, a whole hell of a lot happens in this one. We see at least two major character deaths*, a new character complete with arc and the first confirmed new romance, one of the most interesting location/planet concepts of late, the discovery by an in-universe character that warp can be used as a weapon**, and apparently still have time left over for a stop by the casino. The film's primary character arcs are Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker. Both are at least somewhat interesting, but Luke's arc largely leaves him doing little to nothing over the course of the film and is thusly disappointing. Finn and Rey go through the film largely the same people throughout, maybe becoming more aware or competent with time but largely unchanged on a personality level. Even Poe ends the film a slightly different man than he started it, finding himself more guarded and cautious than he'd entered. The most interesting arc altogether was, to me, the First Order as a whole. It starts as a looming, powerful, retaliation-minded dystopia with its typical Third Reich flair, but sees its #1 killed by its #2, its #2 attempt desertion, only for him to be nearly betrayed by its #3, and the #2 and #3 holding an unsteady binary relationship within the former #1's power vacuum, losing most of its fleet and undoubtedly a lot of morale in the process. The film makes it clear that however small and weak the Rebellion is, the First Order is on the out, and may soon devolve into splintering and pan-militant power struggles (with the revelation that the war is being profited from, perhaps the post-First Order bad guys might be small, seedy outfits of profiteers instead of proud, powerful armies of a black and white war? That's the only reason I can think for spending as much time on del Toro's character's 'no good and bad; just money' speech as they did. I dunno, thinking out loud). There's also a subtle inversion to Ren's false claim that Rey killed Snoke: At the film's beginning, Ren is the butt of the joke that he lost squaring off to an untrained girl. With the claim that Rey was able to kill Snoke, Rey seems a more powerful force and Ren becomes the only hero to properly stand up to her. This makes Ren the hero of the force he betrayed and was primed to abandon, and Rey the big bad guy to rally the troops against. *I'm unsure of whether to consider Phasma a major character. She played only a fairly minor role in Force Awakens, and has a pretty brief presence in this one. Though, if Leia can Deus Ex her way to safety, the filmmakers may use this as an opportunity to bring their only villainess at present back from the apparent dead. **Seriously, how did it take this long? Perhaps modern terrorism has desensitized me to the concept of sacrificial attacks, but surely when faced with threats like the Death Star, somebody must have realized the destructive potential of the ability to send 20,000 ton ships ripping away at 30x the speed of light. PS Did anyone else get a Hugh Hefner vibe off Snoke? The throne and imposing face matched our impressions from the previous film to a tee, but that golden robe against the needlessly colorful background just made him seem an uncomfortable presence in slightly the wrong way.
