Alright, I see what happened. Let me clear something up, I see a misunderstanding of a small joke;

The mod's not coming out before Christmas or New Years, I can say that for sure. I do not know when it will be released, all you can count on is that at some point it will be released.
There will be no release date set until I add in the fuel tank, which at this rate looks like it will be the last thing put in place. Then it all depends upon my beta testers

What I said to @Flippi 284 was a reminder to him to do the skins. I wasn't hinting at a release date.

Meh, if I feel like adding the parts in and I get a good police skin from those who volunteered to make skins. It's not ruled out, but I am working on other things right now in regards to both the mod and my actual life.

I can.....won’t be realistic though.

 

I think the racing tuned engine setups will have more than enough horsepower for racing and such.

Focus on the skins, I and atv are working on the engine tuning and suspension tuning, among other things.

Not yet, it's been busy this week.

Also I noticed someone decided to post some crappy C3 vette clickbait car in @alex_333 's mod group, which is also very upsetting.

I wish more people cared about the JBeam instead of making something just look pretty. It's literally amazing what happens when you simply change the weight distribution, what happens to the handling. Then when you change node positions in the suspension geometry, and so on.

I guess no one really cares about that side of things, so instead they go download a stolen mesh, make it colorable, slap it on another JBeam, and call it good :/

It's really quite discouraging that a mesh is all these stupid kids care about. You put all the effort in the world on a JBeam structure to make it as accurate as you can, and no one wants it because there's a better looking version (with an absolutely horrendous JBeam.)


I am also waiting on @atv_123 to finish the engine tuning work.

Hopefully after the new year I have some significant progress.
