    Went to the junkyard today.

In the customer-open sections, among a lot of stuff, I saw a Fiat Maluch with a red body, green hood and blue driver's door, a Trabant, a Żuk van, the world's most rotten early 90s Iveco Daily and 4 Alfa Romeos: 3 156s (one with a hilariously rotten chassis) and a 166, which were some of the newest stuff around.

However, there was the non-customer-open section, which could have had real medium rarities, judging by the fact that I saw a Wartburg "Farty Hans" 353, a Ford Probe, a Mk1 3-door Golf and a Niewiadów N126 caravan over the fence.

What are your recent junkyard finds?

Just for the context, I decided to say what cars in the US society are the cars I found roughly comparable to:
    • Maluch - K-Car and its descendants,
    • Trabant - Ford Fairmont,
    • Żuk - 70s Chevy Van/Ford Econoline/Dodge Ram Van,
    • Daily - 90s Chevy Silverado,
    • Alfa Romeo 156 - Pontiac G6,
    • Alfa Romeo 166 - 2000s Pontiac Grand Prix,
    • Wartburg 353 - Dodge St. Regis,
    • Ford Probe - Lexus SC400,
    • Mk1 Golf - Mercedes W123,
    • Niewiadów N126 - 80s Ram Van-based RV.

A few years ago, i saw a (looked like) a First Gen Shelby Mustang. It was inside of a barn, on top of some hay. That's the most coolest one i found.

    Comparison basis:
    - K-Cars and the Maluch were very common,
    - Fairmont and Trabant stand in the shadow of the stuff above,
    - Żuk and these vans are both common old vans,
    - Dailies and Silverados are staples of cheap utility vehicles,
    - Alfas and Pontiacs are both relatively cheap cars with a sporty image,
    - Wartburg and St. Regis were seen as the "other" big car,
    - Probe and SC400 were luxurious coupes,
    - Golf and W123 were expensive cars, renowned for reliability,
    - N126 and cutaways were relatively cheap ways of camping.

That is my basis. Agree to disagree?

The maluch is more like a MK1 Mini, the Trabant was a cheap, badly made car (I'd say it's more like a Ford Pinto), the Dailies are more like Ford Econolines, the Probe was sold in the US, the Golf is much more like a MK1 Civic.

The last time I've been to a Junkyard (which was over a year ago) I saw a 1971-74 Eldorado

I am making cultural comparisons, not mechanical ones.

A good cultural translation is not a literal one.
