How bout we stop feeding the Russian thieves .Drive mods? Im a little confused. And Im not being prejudice. Ive heard once or twice that "there must be a Russian person who bought the game and is downloading the mods and re releasing them or distributing them amongst Russian mods websites"...heh?

I agree with the others. There is nothing wrong with Russians, just Russian pirates from that collection of sites and they don't make up the entire population of Russia or even the entire population of beamng players. There are a few russians posting on the English forums too, nothing to implicate them with piracy, just genuine people like you or me.

Um, no. Most of them are quite nice. The cultural racism here bothers me.

 

1. Not all Russians are thieves and to assume simply because a member posted in the Russian forum he is a thief is like saying simply because you know drugs exist you must be a cartel boss.
2. I believe it would be possible to catch the person responsible as the website in question has every mod every uploaded on it, and I mean everything, even tiny things that got like 5 downloads. Just check which user has downloaded absolutely everything and if there's only one start monitoring them for suspicious activity. if there's more than one, simply single out the ones with Russian IP addresses.
I say that not because I am racist, but because the website in question is hosted in Russia and also write in Russian.

I understand the piracy sources we've been having issues with are russians but you can't let a few rotten apples spoil the barrel.

My town is called St Neots. Some point a few hundred years ago a St Neots resident assassinated the then current prime minister, was the first to do so I believe. Does that make everyone in my town murderers?
