Yeah, apperently any long stuff ought to be placed in the "user info" section in the profile... The long random sigs were a thing a lot of us here did, a part of being in the community. With the "hid sig" option it really wasn't a bother; it feels really weird to not have it...

Yeah, but after the first three lines, it's hidden anyway to people who don't want to see it. Some of us, though, like to go through long sigs and see who has been quoted, little jokes, and whatever else there may be in there. Long sigs were a fun little thing that the people who didn't like them didn't have to partake in.

 

Not sure where I stand on the whole signature issue. Although longer ones were fun, I believe that there should be a limit at some point. Overly long signatures with random text added "for the lulz" takes up room on the site and is better off gone. As of this writing, I am currently supporting the restrictions, although I would like them to be a bit longer.
