On a serious note, thank you so much for writing this.
People underestimate the effect that their toxicity can have on the staff, and the community is often too quick to forget that we all have our limits.

Being direct and up-front is always the best way to face a community, and if that means putting some people in their place, so be it

 

And I'm wondering which moderator it was.

On topic, I think these changes will probably be for the better.

Why not recluit the more mature of the regular forum users?

 

I kind of feel bad for you at the moment. Your not in the best place right now. You seem positive, but I think your pretty stressed from people yelling at you.

 

I require more time to go through the changes and stuff, its down to the way I process information expect a more full response in well when I get around to it haha!

 

Secret Moderators sounds like a good idea. That way they can't be targeted if something happens

Thanks a lot. The forums have been extremely toxic lately and it is nice to know you guys are doing everything you can

 

So if that happens and they overabuse power, they are forced to step down. Simple and easy and you still look over their shoulders. But still, if that is your opinion on the topic, its respectable as power corrupts everything.
But still that could be a way out.

 

If you watch Ivan's youtube videos you start to feel bad for him, but then you remember what he has done and what he does and then you really dont care. It seems mean, but srsly that is exactly what happens.
