One of the crash comp guys from youtube let me know this was broken @ spawn in, I will see if I can get it working. If I can get it working I will upload a fix and bring it to the attention of the original author. If I have it working and cannot contact the creator, I will get ahold of the moderators. --- Post updated --- FIXED! Loaded and working. *SNIP* I will upload the repaired map tonight & bring it to the moderators attention. Yes, it's working 100% Packaged up, will be uploading shortly, and will get in contact with the moderators, if they can update this file. Thanks @Ouerbacker , I owed you one, for letting me create Nevada Interstate map out of Black Hills 2015. Fixed all the changes into all the other sub-versions too (ones without falling snow, trees, etc). Didn't delete anything just renamed the TOD folder in the main mission file. I had fixes here, edited them out, you can download an updated version of the whole map, it should work just dandy as it does here all packaged up - this was too good to lose to a version update.
Ouerbacker updated Mammoth Valley with a new update entry: Hotfix Read the rest of this update entry...
It's been fixed Thanks to CrashBoomPunk on youtube for letting me know it was broken, took a few minutes, but it's been fixed. Only hard part was not using my interwebs connection for a few HOURS while it uploaded. Yellav Valley should be getting the same treatment.
Finally, it works again! Quick question: Will the AI be completed? The parts where it ends are the tunnels and bridges, since they are mesh. One side: Tunnel and Bridge side:
I merely made the map back to it's state that it was before 0.9 game update changed things (that caused a no-spawn/no-load condition). I didn't address any quirks to things, and left it exactly the way the original creator left it. I didn't modify the scene itself (including AI roads etc). So no, there won't be AI there, however, if the map breaks again, I will surely attend to this if @Ouerbacker doesn't have the time or energy to fix it. Lots of people like Ouerbacker's maps so I felt someone obligated to fix this and Yellav Valley when I noticed they didn't load. Anyone who built maps (with or without permission) off these maps prior to 0.9 game update, needs to get into contact with me. As a mapper myself, I couldn't see so much effort going to waste when this game is so fun, just due to version updates.
Your welcome! Out of respect for the mapper, I chose *NOT* to modify the scene on this as nothing required it to run properly. While the AI paths are missing or other things need to be changed, I usually try to get into contact with @Ouerbacker or whomever's map is it in question, before I modify something they put dozens, hundreds, or over 1500 hours into (as in the case of Roane County Tennessee, I put 1500+ hours into it). Basically, if it's a text-based change like this way I did it (to avoid human error or bugs with the editor), it's just merely re-packing a super-duper small less than 1kb change to the archive. Conversely, I did fix the missing AI paths in Yellav Valley but again this was just text editor stuff. I also, did not modify the scene with the in-game editor in that map either. It's really not my map or responsibility however this map (Mammoth) and Yellav were very well done, well polished, and played well, in other words; too good to lose. Enjoy the map. If anyone finds any of his other finished maps are broken, I will attend to it at the earliest convenience as soon as I am aware of it.
This map is a bit old, but is still well loved. With winter in full swing in many parts, it's time I work a little magic on this map. Staying true to it's spirit but giving more of everything we've all come for I am adding: Container area had floating containers. This is fixed (they're removed now and remaining containers are grounded). More roads (yes, it's a driving game), with varying surfaces from slick to grippy asphalt (few spots), surface are somewhat random as to be expected from winter precipitation. Adding some more twisty routes to balance out the long stretches. AI working on bridges and tunnels (this is done and tested). AI fixed at the closed lane, so it won't run into the container or barriers anymore (tested, done). Dressed up the existing intersections to look better (done, all but 2). Not killed the frame rate. At this time, only 'full detail' version will be modified (shouldn't bother other detail levels). I've thus far added 2.7 miles of NEW road and opened up the town road (it's now a through-street, road completed). This map was just too awesome to not update and keep it current. I updated it on 0.9 or 0.10 game version but it's still lots of fun. So look forward to more slippery roads, and more roads altogether with lots of opportunities for crashes, and working AI on 100% of the map (is tested well!). This should be out well before the end of the month provided I don't murder my computer. If there's something you'd truly love give a shout-out. I might just be able to include it. Remember, I'm not the original mapper, but Ouerbacker is an awesome mapper, love his work, so out of respect I will keep this map alive! This will be solely an upgrade and NOTHING will be removed* from the existing map that's still here except the asphalt traction everywhere is to be changed and more things added (see variable traction above). *This map does high (100+) FPS on my setup and it's 3+ years old sans the video board (Rx 480), so I might not support lower detail modes as they're much less necessary now. Speak up if you NEED these lower detail levels! Look out for "Mammoth Valley 2.0 - Winter Blunderland Edition" in the near future! @Ouerbacker let me know if you want me to ship you the file in private (when it's done) for preview & update here or host it on my own mod repository submission.
I was wondering if you can fix the AI so it goes through the tunnels and does a whole loop? ik im here after many months but its just suggestion?
(pardon me for the massive bump, ik that people for some reason hate bumps on this forums) It still doesn't work. I'm extremely surprised that no one has uploaded a fix yet. This map is a sick classic, just like Garfield Heights.
huh... what version of BeamNG are you on? Because if you're on the newest version, I'd like if you'd send the file.
it works for me aswell on 0.30 just uhh 1 exception is that the going in the snow mud kind texture is brown and not white
