Saab 9-5 Saloon 6.5 seconds to 62 mph Saab 9-5 Estate 6.5 seconds to 62 mph Likelihood of me doing a video on this...Nil...I am not a boy racer...I am a good driver...although...I do drive like Ayrton Senna at points and Niki Lauda at other times all depends on my mood..
Cars I had: Suzuki SJ410 ´85 0-100km/h = No idea Volvo 440 2.0 ´94 0-100km/h = 10-11sec (worst car I ever had) Toyota Corolla 1.6 VVT-i ´00 0-100km/h = 10sec (Loved that engine and its sound on high revs) Cars I have: Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 3.0D ´75 0-100km/h = Dont know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qudLS6LkAUo My Civic and my Ex GF 2010 Sentra SR 2.0. Mostly rev ups in a long ass tunnel we have near our house. Then I get on it on the Highway (low traffic, don't worry lol) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LefTgWZ8wws My old 1995 Buick Century 3.1V6. Actually sounded nice (pushrod V6 is the best sound IMO) Had a CAI and a muffler Delete, but the muffler delete barely added any sound. My Tacoma says it will do 0-60 in 7.0 Flat, and its a Crew Cab with the extra long bed. 5 speed auto. For how big (and red) it is, it puts a lot of cars to shame, namely the Civic Si at highway speeds, I leave a lot of them and sentras and the like. Smokes tires with TCS turned off and just mash the throttle. New mud grabbers and a 3" lift, bull bar/lights and (possibly) a TRD Supercharger kit are planned for the summer this year, should be TONS more fun. My Saab is pretty quick too, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RMt-XzcBDA This is an aero but an older year, Mines an Arc (mid level) but with the better transmission. Pretty much just as quick (only about 15hp difference)
I haven't personally timed it, but i have a Seat Arosa 1.4 TDI (75hp standard) with a tuning box that gets it to around 100hp, i've seen reports from others with similar setups suggesting it'll do 0-62(mph) between 8-9 secs - although being a diesel it's most impressive really between say, 40 - 70 when you get all the torque. It's only £30 a year to tax and gets great MPG, it goes plenty quick with 100hp in such a small car and insurance costs are about as low as they can be as obviously my insurance don't know about it having an extra 25hp, as if anything happened i would just remove the tuning box... best of all worlds, really. Gotta love Rosie She's getting some coilovers and polybushes in the next month, get a bit of a lower stance and make it handle like a go-kart! Unfortunately at the moment she aint handling great , the driver's side wheel toes out at the bottom, which naturally means it doesn't track straight, hopefully my new suspension / bushes will sort her out.
Why only say something about me? I'm not allowed to drive yet and that car may be one I use. On topic: Gabester I like your choice of car.
Stock: 0-60 in 6 seconds. Current: 0-60 in 5 Seconds (when on the ball) 1998 Ford Mustang GT. 4.6L V8 5-Speed Not my car:
That car was rock solid, I got it in 2008 with 31K miles on it, then got rid of it 8 months later with close to 70K on the clock. although, the tranny and BOTH CVs blew at the same time...so yea I guess ur right lol
