Yeah but it depends on how extreme you want to go, if its really hard going independent won't really be able to keep up, but granted that's not important to basically anyone who would own a G-Wagen in those high end specs anyway. Its generally less maintenance friendly too but again only applicable to more rugged and professional models.
Normally I would agree with you on that point, but really... usually the only time a solid axle is going to have more articulation than independent suspension is when it isn't in a stock configuration. The only time articulation really starts to come into the game for solid axles being better is when you start getting into the realm of Feet of difference between the tires. That being said, if you modify an independent suspension vehicle just as much... you can keep up in that regard as well and actually have the potential to do better due to the lack of unsprung weight (someone mentioned it, but I don't know who... don't feel like looking, but I know I saw it) What I will agree with, however, is that Solid axles have the distinct advantage of being able to keep their wheels perpendicular to the surface they are driving over rather than perpendicular to the vehicle itself. That will allow for much greater traction on uneven ground no matter how much articulation you have.
Same here, coming back from college I passed one regularly that looked pretty refurbished. Though it could have just been really low miles and original, either way looked like new and had proper decals.
LLVs are starting to get more attention than when they first came out, considering how much people modify it, make memes out of it, and even purchase them from auctions.
So I was on Shitty Car Mods and I found this I want to know what is your guys thought on it, my it's very unique at least.
Hey stupid, sarcasm doesn't get conveyed through text. Also, Helder is right, that wasn't even close to being funny
Uh, no it's not. I don't know where you got that from, but abbreviations aren't even close to being sarcastic unless there's a ton of context.
